Wow ! Having been highly recommended, Sophie, Mark & David didn’t disappoint at our recent wedding @Launcells BartonFrom our initial enquiry, through a delicious tasting session, advice and of course fantastic delivery at our wedding breakfast, the Dish team were attentive and very professional. Our guests throughly enjoyed the quality of food throughout the day, particular highlights were the sharing platter starters and evening Cornish pasties.We’d have no hesitation to highly recommend the Dish team. The food was a very important part of our wedding and from start to finish the Dish team were amazing.Sophie was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning stage. She is one of the most organised and professional people we've ever met - we felt in very safe hands!We met one of the chefs, Mark, and tasted some canapes whilst discussing what we would like to serve. He clearly loves what he does and talked excitedly about the possible dishes. He also took our ideas into account - as well as including as many local, seasonal ingredients as possible.The food on the day was as delicious and beautifully presented as we could have wished. We hired Dish for our wedding and we simply couldn't have been happier with the service from start to finish. Sophie and the team were fantastic from the first email to the wedding day itself. There is such a range of services to choose from but we ended up choosing a canapé service which was stunning, complete with an oyster bar with the biggest, most delicious oysters we have ever had!We then had a plated service for dinner which included perfectly cooked and plated Scallops, Hake and Porchetta. Cooking that well for that many people was kind of unbelievable, and the service timings were impeccable,. The whole event felt seamless which meant that we could relax and enjoy the whole thing - which when we were surrounded by all our friends and family, felt priceless.We wouldn't hesitate to book Dish again for any event and can't recommend them highly enough.

We both could not recommend the team from DISH more. We first met them in 2019 planning for a 2020 spring wedding. However even through 2 postponements they were by our side and a huge part of making our 2021 November wedding in Bude as memorable as it was.Everyone commented and raved about how delicious the food was and when we couldn’t decide between which dessert (Hannah…), they reminded us it was our wedding day and could have them all!Also so grateful for how accommodating they were to any dietary requirements of our family and friends, making sugar free diabetic desserts and other options made our guests feel included and at ease.We really couldn’t have done it without them and after 2 years of planning felt they were part of our family!Couldn’t recommend more and thank you again.Hannah and Alex Sanchez- Lewis

Wow, wow, wow! We can’t say enough beautiful and amazing things about Dish. We went with them for our wedding on 8 July and everything with them was incredible. From our first meeting with Mark at Nimbus to the final day everything was so seamless. They listened to our vision and we trusted them with every detail. Sophie was truly meticulous with her preparation and it did not go unnoticed. We keep getting messages from our friends and family with how beautiful the food was and it was all because of them. Spectacular! When we first visited with Mark & Sophie for our wedding menu tasting, we immediately felt as though we would be taken care of like family. Not only is Mark & David’s food delicious and sustainably sourced, but you can also tell their creations come from a place of love and passion. Our wedding menu was created based on a sense of who we are as a couple and adding their knowledge and expertise to create an incredible feast! We feasted for two days, having their Wood Fired Oven with pizzas on the Friday before the wedding as well (highly recommend)! Sophie’s attention to detail and organization made us feel so comfortable and we had no doubt that our wedding day would run smoothly in her capable hands. Mark, David, & Sophie – we cannot thank you enough for the memories you helped create, and for the kindness and warmth we felt from you from day one. Forever grateful, Jenn & Matt x

Dish catered for our wedding last August and they were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the initial quote to the end of the wedding day, we were over the moon with every aspect. We enquired with a few caterers, but we were struck by the team's friendly manner and easy professionalism at Dish, and we were not disappointed.Sophie and Mark worked closely with us throughout the wedding planning. They provided us with a great-looking sample menu to help us get started on our food choices, and accommodated every change and request that we had. We had several conversations via Zoom with Mark and Sophie where we discussed our favourite foods and our must-haves, so that the food choice was a flexible and ongoing process. We met with them in person to choose our wedding place settings and to try some sample food to help us choose our final menu.As our main point of contact, Sophie was a dream to work with; she could not be more helpful. She was so attentive and I never felt out of the loop; Sophie was always available to answer any queries about the wedding, and even offered help with other wedding planning completely outside of her remit! Sophie is super organised and had a detailed running order throughout the process, which she shared with us after each major update, so that we felt confident everything would run smoothly. Sophie really took any stress away from the food planning so that it was just an exciting part of our day for us to think about!Our menu for the day included some of the best oysters we've ever tasted as well as lobster and scallops, all locally sourced. The canapes were so delicious, I wish I hadn't been too excited to eat more of them! The wedding breakfast was beautifully presented and also delicious. And the puddings! Each guest had a selection of four mini puddings: tiramisu, chocolate caramel pots, peach and apple crumble, and baked white chocolate cheesecake. I am pleased to say that I had calmed down enough by that point to eat all four. The food was perfect and the manner of the staff throughout the day was spot-on: consummate professionals at all times, but also friendly and warm.Dish are such a friendly, personable, highly competent and helpful team, and we were so happy to have them as part of our special day. I would love to find an excuse to work with them again!

Dish Cornwall offer first class service.We used Dish for the Friday night BBQ prior to our wedding (serving about 50 people) and then for our wedding reception / breakfast (serving about 160 people). All the food, ranging from the easy to prepare BBQ food, to the complex canapes and restaurant quality three course dinner, were exceptional. Every single guest cannot stop singing their praises.They were also a delight to deal with in the run up to the wedding with clear, consistent and thorough communications.

Dish did the catering for our wedding in September 2022 at the Camel Studio in Cornwall. The food was outstanding - fresh, tasty and varied. Every part of the meal was delicious, including the vegan options which, according to our guests, was the best vegan wedding food they have ever had. Sophie, David and the team were a dream to work with. They worked with us to create the menu so it felt personal to us. Sophie's meticulous attention to detail and thorough organisation took the stress away from the planning, and meant that everything was coordinated and ran smoothly on the day. The team on the day were friendly and attentive. We cannot recommend Dish highly enough.

We cannot recommend Dish highly enough following the impeccable service they delivered as the caterer for our wedding earlier this year. From Sophie's meticulous organisation & frequent communication throughout the planning process, to the inspiring meeting we had with David & Mark to plan the menu, to the delicious food that was flawlessly served the night before & on the day itself, the whole evolution was perfect. Along with our guests, we consider ourselves lucky to have experienced the Dish 'magic' and have only one piece of advice for any future newlyweds looking for top-notch caterers in the South West: book them before someone else does!

Lovely people, lovely, lovely food and just fitted in with us and made the day go wonderfully smoothly. Nothing too much trouble for them. Tasting day was a joy. Even tolerated our spaniel in and out the kitchen constantly looking for a treat. Superb. Five star. Could not recommend more highly.

I was fortunate enough to experience a wedding catered by the Dish team recently. I had heard great things about their food but as a vegan you never know quite what to expect and are grateful if you feel full afterwards. Two weeks later and I am still blown away by the quality and creativity of every element.To start there were arancini balls with a chutney gracing the top. They were crispy balls of goodness which melted in your mouth. To follow there was a sharing board brimming with fresh bread, courgette, aubergine, olives, padron peppers and capers. Cooked to perfection, the freshness and quality sang.To follow was a summer wellington, perfectly roasted potatoes in a dusting of beautiful spices, perfectly cooked runner beans & broad beans and a salad. There was not a single element which felt like an afterthought, or that didn't compliment the other flavours beautifully.When it came to dessert I was in heaven. The lemon tart was zingy, sweet and refreshing, with a caramelised finish on top that had me going up for seconds. I haven't had brûlée for 4 years and it was an unexpected delight that took me on a trip down memory lane. I gushed to the head chefs afterwards and told them in earnest that it was the best dinner I had experienced at a wedding, but I would go further and say the best meal I've had in the South West. They then kindly wrapped up some of the lemon tart for me to take home!Later they brought out some kebabs that I was sadly too full to have, but looked just as beautiful and tempting as everything else had been.If you are considering having the Dish team cater your wedding or event, and want to ensure that everyone feels like they ate at a michelin star restaurant regardless of dietary requirements, you cannot go wrong with Dish. I sincerely hope I am fortunate enough to experience their food again, as what they have is so rare. They not only respect their produce and flavour, but they take everything that one step further, as a result their food is joyful, fresh and sublime.
