Bodega 18
18 Old Bridge St, TruroLoved it here today, three of us shared the lunch special of 3 plates each for £16.95. Fantastic value! Our total bill with drinks, of wine, sherry and beer was £105.75. Connor our server was lovely. Must try dishes are 'Pig cheeks and mash' , definitely the Aubergine and honey, croquettes, really creamy and crisp, 'Pisto, veg and quail eggs'. Initially I thought the salads came out a bit late in service however in hindsight they made a welcome palate cleanser part way through. Feedback was given to Connor about the smoked anchovies and the baby gem presentation, needs more thought, but the gorgeous red pepper sauce with almond could be really developed by chef, we need more of that stuff. Also we need more sherries please, there were only 2 on the menu, PX and a Manxanilla, which was excellent. We couldn't manage dessert today so we didn't try the PX. Thanks to you guys for a lovely lunch ?

Bread & Butter (cafe in Truro)
20 & 24 River St, TruroI come here maybe three or four times a year as I don't live near Truro, but this place makes the most beautiful pancakes, and they truly are a filling treat. The staff are so friendly and helpful with dietary requirements and the seating area is lovely. There are seating areas indoors and outdoors, open (as far as I know) all year round, so if you book a table outside in the cooler/cold months, wrap up warm.Highly recommended that you book a table in advance, so as not to face disappointment if you just roll up and hope for the best in getting a table, as it is a very popular café in Truro! Don't believe me? Check the line outside the café before they open in the mornings!Highly recommend visiting here for a fantastic food experience.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately the indoor seating is upstairs and I don't believe there is a lift.

Mediterraneo
Cornwall, 18 Victoria Square, TruroWe went there to meet up with some friends from out of town. We were lucky to get a table. What an absolute delight it was to have dinner there. The service is impeccable and everyone is so friendly. But most importantly, the food reminded us of Athens so much. Felt like we were back there. We tried the gyros fries and the gyros platter. Both were absolutely delicious. Just one wish - I wish they had some cocktails. But would definitely go back there again.

10 Kenwyn St, TruroHad a fantastic meal here last night. We were the first people in and our food was served quickly and freshly prepared. As a garlic lover, I was pleasantly surprised by the huge amount of garlic in the rice! All of the Nepalese dishes we tried were full of flavour and delicious.Staff were very understanding of our dietary requirements and double checked everything to make sure we could eat it. Most dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan at request which give you plenty of options on the menu if you are either. First time eating here but definitely not the last.

The Longstore Lemon Street
62 Lemon St, TruroWe went for the bottomless brunch and it was well worth the cost. The bottomless bit is about the drinks which includes prosecco and beer. There is a supplement to pay for cocktails which seems fair enough. The breakfast itself is delicious. The home made hash browns and smokey beans are very good, and the roasted tomatoes are so much better than the lightly grilled ones most places serve up.Delicious sausages too.The Longstore is gorgeous inside - contemporary with wood panelling and good lighting. The staff are pretty consistent. KAKU CHI
3 St. Marys Mews, TruroWe always try and stop in here when we head into Truro. The pastries are freshly made and, in my opinion, the best in the city (thanks to the owner who has vast experience and training in baking and French cuisine) and the coffee is always spot on. While I was in there, another customer said his croissant was the “best he’d ever had”. Coffee wise, I usually have a decaf, which in some places can be quite bitter but these guys serve a tasty decaf with no bitterness and just good beans. Family owned, love and care poured into their coffee and food and a friendly atmosphere. I love this hidden gem and you will too.

Other than that 10/10. Cannot fault the food or the staff! County Arms, Truro
Highertown, TruroLove this place. Everybody is so helpful and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble. Beds are super-comfortable, food is great, as is the bar! Very well place for hospital visits, which unfortunately I have to make fairly regularly. Will definately be staying there again.

Flourish Cafe
17-18 King St, TruroA little treat for my wife and I, discovering this wonderful tiny cafe, tucked down a side alley in Truro. Seek it out for a delicious lunch, or just a perfectly made coffee, and a slice of their truly mouth watering cake. Lovely staff, and a mellow atmosphere will make you feel at home. Thank you!

The Bay Tree Restaurant
Newquay Rd, Goonhavern, TruroWe went for our bike club Christmas lunch. The staff were so helpful and organised. They served 30 of us with ease, keeping us informed all the way. The food was very good and they were happy to cater for our dietary requirements. (We had booked food in advance to help the kitchen staff). Thank you to all the staff in the Bay Tree restaurant.

3 Nalders Ct, TruroThis was very easy to give top marks to. I'd probably go as far as saying that it's the best place to eat in Truro. I had a milkshake which was excellent. All the food was piping hot and full of flavour. Looking forward to our next visit.

108 Coffee House
109 Kenwyn St, TruroProbably the best oat flat white I have ever had! It was hot, I didn't have to down it in one, it was made with Oatly (the best barista oatmilk) and it was strong but not bitter. Absolutely perfect! The avocado on toast was equally fine, as was the granola. I will be back.

The Old Ale House
7 Quay St, TruroExcellent pub with a great atmosphere. Lots of different beers and other drinks to try. Peanuts are free with a satisfying crunch under foot because that’s where the shells go. Live music some evenings when it can be busy. No food served, but you can bring your own. Nothing to fault.
