Absolute 10 out of 10, incredible customer service, the food is out of this world, super clean and chill atmosphere, I wish I didn't live over 6 hours away otherwise I'd be in here all the darn time!! Seriously I cannot put into words how amazing The Cornish Vegan is, if your visiting YOU HAVE TO VISIT! It's a must! Thank you for being an absolutey scrumptious safe haven for all of us plantbased peeps and thank you to all the staff - you're all complete diamonds!

Don’t listen to the 1 bad review, the persons never even eaten at the place…. Trust the multiple regular customers making these boys so busy they can’t always answer the phone. If they open the place at 530, it does take an hour to heat up and get cooking…. ?‍? keep it up lads!! Everyone else is impressed!!

I went here a few months back for a friend's birthday party, there was roughly 15-20 of us [ we pre booked the tables in advance ], we was there for a good few hours, the food was outstanding and the staff was a good laugh and very welcoming, pints were a decent price and tasted great, the outdoor area was also great for the younger ones and to watch the rugby, overall fantastic place for pint and meal!

What can I say? Amazing just doesn’t cut it. This place is a hidden gem! Booked for a leaving due for our nursing team of 13 & felt the pressure of being the organiser so wanted to take everyone somewhere nice! This place was so much more than nice! The staff were brilliant! Double checking the order, pizza came out in timely manner, friendly and approachable, very attentive! Always offering more drinks & asking if we needed anything. There was gentlemen and young lass who were worked so well as a team. Everyone said how great the pizza was, the atmosphere as a whole was lovely & warm. I genuinely can’t believe we haven’t been here before! It’s a must go to. Myself and a friend did a half each in which I had the bbq chicken and she had the Wild West! Both mouth watering!! Will be attending again and hopefully will be there for the live events! Thank you for accommodating us at short notice and just being overall brilliant!

Great service, great food in the Boat house . I had the BBQ Beef ciabatta with montary jack cheese and pickles and a side of chips. All washed down with a Port pilsner. If in Porthscatho it’s a must visit. Real value for money.

Not the most spacious or atmospheric restaurant ever but it is wheelchair accessible and both the food and service are great. They make do really well with such a small footprint. Very tasty.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is tight but a huge powered chair fitted in and was able to sit at a table and turn to leave.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant is a pleasant environment and great food. I had the all day breakfast. You can choose 2 from beans, tomatoes and mushrooms which made my life easy as I didn't have to ask if they could swap baked beans for anything like how I do in other places lol. For £14.50 you get 2 eggs, 2 sliced of toast, 2 sausages, tomato, mushroom, and 2 slides of bacon, you get 1 hot drink (tea/coffee) and also one juice (orange /apple) so yip, my holiday craving of "I must have a full English whilst on holiday" was definitely satisfied.

The food was so well balanced with its seasoning and acidity. We didn't need to add any condiments to it and could enjoy it exactly how chef wanted the customer to have it. The waiting staff were very polite with a balance of friendliness and professionalism. We felt so at ease and looked after by them.

Literally the best cardamom bun I’ve ever tasted. And the pasty?! Decadent, succulent, sophisticated. Not only is the food delicious but the front of house staff carry a jovial and lighthearted aura that makes you want to share your deepest secrets and let go of a long held grudge from years ago. All in all, a good experience. I would recommend going only if you treat both the buns and the staff with the respect they deserve and perhaps even leave them a considerable tip or gifts etc.

Probably the best oat flat white I have ever had! It was hot, I didn't have to down it in one, it was made with Oatly (the best barista oatmilk) and it was strong but not bitter. Absolutely perfect! The avocado on toast was equally fine, as was the granola. I will be back.

I almost didn't want to write this review as (Selfishly) I want this place to stay exactly as it is and not get busier! Step back in time to a Cornwall long forgotten by time and memory. We joke about if Frog pool is even real and if we will find it or get lost in some cornish Bermuda triangle between Peranawell and Ponsanooth let's just say it's a bit off the beaten track. The Cornish Arms at Frog pool is like walking into 1970's Cornwall it is still a proper local pub and patrons have their own pint glasses! Food is great massive portions and good prices. The staff are excellent and very attentive. You can even have dinner on a verge, come, bus stop outside the pub overlooking a field full of English Oaks what's not to like!

What a great find, we rang this pub to see if we could have a table for 6 people for Sunday lunch with short notice and they kindly squeezed us in even though they were short staffed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and lunch was amazing, clear plates all round. Portion size was very good, plenty on the plate, and reasonably priced. I will definitely revisit and recommend to others x

Growing up in Callestick, it has been nice to go home and see how it's changes, the car park is a lot more spacious with open field benches for families to enjoy whilst kids play on the equipment. There used to be animals in the car park courtyard but have sadly been removed.

I won a valentine's day prize for 2 via their Instagram page and was treated with a loaded shake, a choice of either a sundae or a hot waffle (I went for the hot waffle) and a 500ml tub of a flavour of your choice which I went for the triple chocolate ice cream! The price was for two so me and a good friend went there and was served by Caitlin who was friendly and always lovely to talk too! The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, especially in the sun outside. It's a shame the viewing room is closed but I understand when a small company gets bigger they need more space!!

It's always a pleasure coming back to Callestick as it brings me back to being a young child going for ice cream after school. Thank you for keeping Callestick ice cream farm going! It looks as beautiful as ever!

Wheelchair accessible, with vegetarian sorbet options too! The outside courtyard is always clean and everyone is lovely!

Dietary restrictions: If you're lactose intolerant, unfortunately there isn't mean options apart from the sorbet.
