“Been using this great beachside bar for a couple of years, great food, good prices and the staff are really friendly. Great for eating/drinking and watching the sunsets over the bay.
Last nights visit however was spoiled by a few scruffy idiots who could not understand the concept of waiting their turn to be served at the bar. Pushing in front of a large queue and when I called them out about it, received abuse.”

“Great food, awesome staff and good drinks. Good local trade with time for visitors as well. Staff were great, food was cracking, very much a proper pub grub menu. Had beef burger with bacon jam, good portion, and excellent quality. My partner had the fish burger which she rated vary highly too.
Felt very welcome. Tried phoning to hook but found messaging on Facebook easier and has a response and table booked within 10 mins. Can't complain, would 100% come again!”

“A group of us were staying nearby and ordered takeaway from Kellaway’s. The fish and chips were delicious - lovely chunky white fish and perfect chips. We were served by a young lady named Jasmine (the name on receipt) - who was so sweet and polite. Really good customer service. Highly recommended.”

“My husband and i have absolutely loved the couple of times we have been here, the food is amazing and the servers are nice, the only problem that we’ve had is the wait times,
The first time we went there they forgot about us and we waited about 45 just to order this evening they seemed very quiet and we sat around for about an hour before someone came and asked how everything was and if we wanted dessert which we then had to wait another 15 before we got that order taken.
Once we got our food it’s fantastic it is just the wait times”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Watch House in St Mawes, Cornwall and I must say, it was the best food I’ve eaten in a long time! As someone who organises annual team-building sessions at various locations across the UK, this experience truly stood out.
The atmosphere at Watch House was welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. A special mention must go to the manager, who was unbelievably polite and was serving at multiple tables alone. Despite the busyness, they did a fantastic job of ensuring everyone was attended to without missing a beat.
The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes that highlighted fresh, local ingredients. Each plate we ordered was not only delicious but beautifully presented. It was hard to pick a favorite, as everything was remarkable!
Due to the wonderful experience we had, a few of my team members are already planning to return with their families for a holiday in July, and they’ve made it a priority to dine at Watch House every night.
A big thank you to everyone at Watch House for making our time there so special. It’s safe to say that this is the best place we’ve ever visited for our team-building sessions, and we will certainly be back. From a very happy customer and team, well done!”

“Don't listen to these 1 star phonys, we were served today and everything was great from the food to the service.
Anyone who clearly puts a 1 star on this place either has nothing better to do in their sad little lives - or they genuinely caught them on a (extremely rare) bad day.
Visit this place, both locals and visitors reccomend it, which I now also will reccomend next time someone is visit Truro!”
