I met a colleague at Starbucks car park (15 mins) then drove to a meeting. I returned 70 mins later when I had a coffee then received a £100 fine from Parking eye. Apparently you can park there for 3 hours no problem but if you park for a few minutes split over 2 visits within a3 hour period you get the fine!

My dad and I visited Starbucks on the way to the hospital to support my disabled brother having life threatening surgery. We arrived before it opened, had a coffee, and left within 35 mins. We have just received a £100 fine!!! Utterly disgusting!!! We saw no signs warning of fines.

I had a rare child free day and lots of work to catch up on. I thought I would get out of the house and went and paid an excessive amount for green tea, a panini and some cake whilst I did some work on my laptop. Many other people were doing the same. There is no clear signage or anything on the door when entering the building yet today I received a parking fine for £100. Thanks so much starbucks. I will never return. It's a terrible way to treat paying customers.

This Starbucks is situated at a busy interchange. The franchise holders have recently changed to a more professional company. Modest cosmetic changes have been made to improve the experience, but the future is uncertain due to major works on the A30, hence the facilities not being upgraded to city or major branch standards…that’s a pity as it is and always will be a busy spot. What makes it , is the staff. Despite the proper investments in equipment not being made or recruitment of staff, the staff overcome daily failures and problems to provide excellent service. They are hard working, friendly and coping with problems not their fault….Grumpy travellers have a little understanding, we regulars do.

Five staff staring at the till. Three customers waiting for the order they had paid for. No-one actually making coffee. Barista scratching her hair - God knows what goes on behind the scenes with food hygiene etc. Coffee bitter and tepid. Cup not even put on the saucer straight. Surely it;s not that hard, is it?

Always had good service here, but would be nice to see more of the seating returned for people to use.\\n\\nAlso the two large tables at the rear are often used as a office judging by the amount of people there with laptops.\\n\\nI was even once looked at by once by one of these laptop users and when i asked why we were being stared at he replied that he was (trying to work in quiet). At which point i pointed out that its actually a public cafe and not a office!

Same good coffee you would expect in any Starbucks but the building itself looks like no maintenance has been done for years! Paint peeling off, creators in the car park, disabled access doors don't work, toilets in a bad way, shredded parasols, all woodwork in need of painting. In need of some proper investment!

The staff at this Starbucks were AMAZING when I became ill on the way to the Airport. Many customers stopped to see if I was OK, the staff checked me regularly (I was ill outside) and provided drinks until the Ambulance arrived. I was so ill I don't know the name of the lad who I saw but THANK YOU SO MUCH. You know who you are. And the customers. You were wonderful.

Delicious coffee, as always, but the place looks absolutely horrible. Seriously, like a milk bar in soviet Union. Disgusting toilets as in all Starbucks for some reason, and terrible interior that even most desperate patrons have trouble sitting in.\\nBut again, coffee is delightful as is service.
