So friendly, a small but big-hearted pub where all feel welcomed.

Popped i for a quick drink because we heard live music as we walked past. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Even brought out sandwiches and fries during the music interval.

Dreadful place. Alley at the back door where smokers go absolutely stinks of wee and is filthy. Doesn’t cost much to wash down with a bit of bleach. Not a pleasant place to drink. Put me off ordering any food as it’s disgusting. They obviously don’t care about hygiene

Looks nice enough from the outside but the front door was locked at 9pm when I arrived yet there were people inside at the bar. Can't say much else. Sort of odd.

Went there on a Wednesday night with my new son in-law told to leave as he was going to close at 9pm.

I made a brief stop here for a couple of pints. The bartender (Smila) and the locals made me feel very welcome. I would definitely return!

It's a local city pub, great beer. Its only downside was that one of the customers was extremely drunk and loud and was trying to engage with everyone and the music in a very bad way. It made the visit uncomfortable, especially when other customer's had not been so unthoughtful and bought her more drink because they thought it a funny thing to do...

A great old style Cornish pub with good quality food at reasonable price.

Good pub, cleanest place in truro and the toilets are extremely clean without even a spec on them. Reasonable pricing and is pet friendly and they don't mind if you bring in food from other places! If you come, make sure you look out for a small pug named Sidney who sits in the top right of the bar next to the fireplace!!
