Handy little cafe within Truro cathedral. Enjoyed a tasty coffee and cake. Nice authentic seating, although quite a small space, and slow service due to single use coffee machine. But the friendly team doing all they could to manage a busy time.

Lovely little coffee shop. Great cakes. Surprised that it was so quiet after organ recital. Lovely staff and great service. A credit to the cathedral. Definitely worth supporting. Xxx

Terrible customer service, arrived yesterday just before 2pm. Asked for hot food and a rude voice from the kitchen shouted "the kitchen is closed" Terrible customer service and as it turns out very over priced food, I had a scone with butter, asked for some jam and was charged 75p for a tiny plastic tumbler of jam.. Won't be visiting again!

Had an amazing cream tea with freshly baked scones. Other food available was fresh and tasty. Restaurant adjoins the cathedral and well worth a visit

Read the reviews and saw the pictures for this establishment. So decided to visit, upon arrival the menu on the table was very sparse, when we asked about hot food we were told it wont be available to after 12pm. We then asked about a toasted tea cake (which appeared as an option on the board above the counter) and was told by a very rude lady, in a very un christian tone“Don’t have any” So we left, For a place thats looking for charitable donations the wait staff need a lesson in courtesy.

Pleasant cafe, friendly service. Nice soup of the day and coffee. Prices seem to be average for the area.

Really good food and good value for money. Last time we had the cottage pie that was delicious as was the soup. This time we had the roast chicken breast done in a lovely peppercorn sauce and the carrot and mashed swede and new potatoes. Really full of flavour and nicely presented. The chef obviously takes a pride in his work. The staff are really pleasant and friendly and efficient.

Called in this morning and both ordered a bacon sandwich and a coffee. Staff were very pleasant and the coffee was nice, the bacon sandwich however was terrible, it had a very strange taste, I could have sworn they had put garlic butter on it. We both left our sandwiches after one bite….we didn’t complain as the taste had put us both off and we didn’t want anything else from that kitchen.
We opted for coffees with a bacon bap and a slice of lemon drizzle cake and each were both tasty and good value for money. the service was very pleasant and they were "covid aware"

Went to Truro on a day trip, lovely little town to walk around but the cathedral is something else, have got to say I’m biased here being a bricklayer, stonemason myself. The amount of work and quality of the work that went into this building is phenomenal,The arches and pillars inside are perfection and must have been done by the best tradesmen in Britain, the stain glass windows, everything exceptional. On the outside there are figures missing from their plinth but I understand they’ve been taking down to be repaired. The marble on outside along with the sandstone are wonderful and must be seen, definitely a must see.

Visited this restaurant whilst on holiday as we were in need of a coffee and slice of cake. We were welcomed warmly which was lovely. Our cake and coffees were very good value - there were a huge range of cakes to choose from, and we were impressed with the price. The restaurant became very noisy, so if someone in your party has sensory issues - perhaps it would be wise not to visit at busy times. Covid security was good.

We had an absolutely wonderful cream tea here today. The staff members on duty were lovely, polite and helpful. Excellent service and brilliant food.
