Pizza was completely inedible, undercooked, soggy and cold!
Cod bites were just frozen rubbish and chips over cooked and dry!
Waste of money, shame!
Great surfers breakfast, and lovely freshly squeezed orange juice, just what was needed on our last day here.
Great friendly service too!
To say it was bank holiday and very busy, didn’t have to wait to long. Tasty pizza which we had on the beach and helpful staff
The pizza was nice however it took an hour and 20 minutes for it to be made, despite being told we would only have to wait 45 minutes. I understand that it seemed relatively busy, but there should be a more efficient system in place which is better prepared for busier times because this was a rather major inconvenience
If a fly lands on one of your behind the counter cakes, and a customer tells you about it, you're meant to throw the cake away.
If someone asks for a fork, you're not meant to say "we're not allowed to give them out" and then "oh no we're out of them", because it just looks like you're lying.
If someone orders chips, you're not meant to go back to the kitchen and give the line cook a neck massage.
If someone orders chips, you're meant to cook them all the way through.
Just told the lady behind the counter that a fly landed on the cakes and she wafted it away saying they do... Avoid the cakes
No forks either so eat with your fingers! But didn't get told until AFTER we ordered!
Would not recommend and would not come back unless you are after a soggy and cold tortilla. Been told it would be about 20mins i waited nearly one hour. For some decent stuff just go to dominos...
This is the first time I’ve eaten a pizza and felt sad about eating a pizza. The only way to describe the pizza base is ‘a cracker’ not as in a good time cracker, as in a cracker you’d put cheese on. It was slimmer than a piece of paper and as stiff as a thin slice of wood. And then there was the taste, I’ve come home now and it’s been around 2 hours since I’ve eaten and I still haven’t had a brain receptor tell me that food has entered me. It was so tasteless it was almost impressive. What a rip off, it was expensive and I could have licked the sand and had the same outcome. To be fair it was quick and the staff were nice but Christ it was a bad pizza. Cheers and gone.
Delicious, cheap and convenient place to eat, staff are lovely and what a gorgeous view!
Haven’t had pizza that good since I cycle toured Italy for 3 weeks and lived off pizza

Pizzas were really good at a reasonable price . Unlike the coffee shop opposite(the beach no). The pizzas used good ingredients and were cooked to order very fast service .
Pricey, ok food. Good service and atmosphere.
Had a really yummy pizza here (the mountain goat). It’s right on the beach and such a picturesque setting for a post surf/swim meal!
Amazing fresh tasty food there pizzas are truly mouth watering I had the mountain goat pizza. Goat cheese and home made chutney. Wow best pizza I’ve had in along time friendly staff nice welcome. Polzeath beach right in front of the cafe thank you Galleon for a mouth watering experience we will be back ?
I don't usually leave bad reviews but it would be difficult to say anything positive about this place. I suppose the cheesy chips were okay so it's worth 1 star. The service was terrible, the staff weren't interested and they had most of the menu unavailable, even more after we had ordered. It's also very expensive, costing £8 for 4 cremated fish fingers in a sub roll, which was about all I could find available on the menu.Even the receipt had more errors than correct items but at list it totalled the correct amount.
