Maltsters Arms

Incredible place. We were staying in Port Isaac and quite limited in places to go to on a Monday night so drove here. It really was a brilliant find. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Food was exceptional. I had the buttermilk chicken burger and it was delicious. The chips were outstanding and coleslaw was one of the best ove ever tasted. My partner had the steak and she was blown away by how nice it was. This is a real gem of an establishment. If only all local pubs were this good!

Jaws Pizza

WOODY'S PIZZA

The pizza was amazing, so glad we tried it. If we lived nearby this would undoubtedly be a regular for us! Don’t hesitate, go try it! All the greens was a great veggie option too.

Upper Deck

Just like to say,I had the roast beef today,and it was banging, with a small house bloody Mary, made by the lovely tall waitress, Wat a smiler,made me smile, great service great atmosphere, with a live pianist aswel, Wat more can a Man ask for.. Viva la upper deck xxx

I have to say I don’t post reviews very often but my wife, daughter and myself have just had a fantastic meal here in the restaurant at the St Moritz hotel. We come here every year and always have a great time. Last year we had a great meal in Cafe Rojano and the St Pedroc bistro in Padstow. We also had a terrific meal in the St Moritz hotel restaurant and it was definitely up there. So we are fussy about our food and like to spend a lot of money on food. The meal we just had in the restaurant in the St Moritz tonight was fab. I had a 3 course meal and each course was a delight and the whole meal was faultless. Not cheap but worth it and served by 3 wonderful young people. Highly recommended. I would put the quality as on a par with the meal we had in the St Pedroc last year and actually a more enjoyable meal overall.

Spice Guru

Me and the wife had a takeaway from spice guru whilst on holiday great customer service and the chicken tikka and chicken madras was delicious, I would recommend well done you guys.

Pearl & Trawl

We were warmly welcomed. Louise who served us was amazing and so helpful from taking our order to when we left. The food was amazing and soo delicious. All of the team were fantastic would definitely recommend a visit.

Saltbox

We came here just to use the spa facilities, none of the eateries were open but the space itself felt very inviting and fun. The rooftop Nordic spa is really cool, well thought out and consistently good between treatments. The hot tub is huge, stays warm and well maintained. The sauna is spacious and also well maintained, and the whole place is very clean and comfortable. We were tended to by Lils, a lovely young lady who made us feel very welcome and answered all of our questions with knowledge and enthusiasm. We’ll definitely be back in summer! Thank you!

Cracking Crab

Nipped in for a takeaway coffee on our way back from a walk along the cliff top. Lovely decor, friendly staff and the coffee was delicious, and reasonably priced too. Would be a lovely place to go for a meal as it overlooks the beach, cliffs and the sea

Bushen Bars

Fantastic service. Brilliant staff, very organised. Jo and Gary were easy to deal with and really care about doing the best job possible. Would highly recommend and would use again in heartbeat

The Quarryman Inn

We were staying in the cottages adjacent to The Quarryman Inn and had 3 visits, all of them spot on.

We had a Sunday lunch which was lovely, an evening meal (try the chicken, ham and leek pie!) and an evening with a couple of drinks.

The staff are friendly, polite and chatty and made our visits really enjoyable. Special mention goes to Matt for his super friendly way and his knowledge of local ales. I think he's the root cause of me sampling one too many Padstow Brewery or Bluntrock Brewery Ales which, by the way, are fantastic.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed each visit to The Quarryman Inn and when we return will be visiting again.

Four Boys

An unexpected and welcome find after some coastal footpath walking with our dog. Staff were friendly and relaxed and the food was superb- small but delicious plates, the mouclade de moules with large juicy local mussels in a lightly spiced juice and my lambs heart cooked like rare steak with a spicy salsa, turnip tops and a side of crunchy fries. Nice vibe with the music too. With two ciders and a coffee we were only £56 poorer! Definitely worth returning to Rock for.

Halfway House Country Inn

Just OUTSTANDING Called to see if we could get a last minute booking and they managed to fit us in and what a treat we were in for. Beautiful Beautiful food and the service was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you, super friendly, and so good overall we booked again for the following day (In Cornwall on Holiday). We were traveling home on the Sunday so missed out on the carvery, but when we are back in Cornwall the Halfway House will be top of our list for eating.

The Bridge On Wool

A great pub, our first choice spot to watch any sport. The pub has a great atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. However it does get very busy on a weekend so it depends what you’re looking for!

Stepping Stone

Wow, we were so lucky to get in and the food was sensational! We started with crab and a bisque … stunning! Followed by steak and homemade chips and even vegetables!! Stunning! We also had a bottle of wine. Staff were gorgeous! A real find and will be back again … thank you x

The Tiny Thai

Extremely pleased we stopped in - the food is worth more than just 5 stars - excellent portion sizes, food tastes exquisite and, despite being busy, we didn’t wait long for our meals at all. The staff here are a delight - friendly and courteous service. Will, without a doubt, be coming back here. Thank you so much.

The Ship Inn

We ate here two evenings whilst staying locally and both meals were excellent. We were a group of 6 including 2 children and on both of our visits the food and service were top rate. We ordered burgers, chicken bakes, market fish and the meatballs and all of the meals were delicious and piping hot. The desserts were yummy too. We would definitely recommend coming here.

The Journeyman Restaurant

There is such a difference between generic Indian/ Asian restaurants, and restaurants like the journeyman, where every single dish was prepared according to individual requirements. There is a lovely variety of authentic Indian and Nepalese curries, in addition to Thai curries, Indonesian Rending and a few chinese dishes. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the freshness of the spices really came through.

The young lady who served us was incredibly kind, friendly and accommodating and was very happy to offer some tips and recommendations of things to see and do in the local area.

The chef was also friendly and helpful.

Absolutely unbeatable, and I hope to go again.

Paradise Pizza

Ok I'm not normally a big pizza fan. I'll have it if that's what everyone is having but I'll normally pick something else if I can. The pizzas we had at Paradise though were the most enjoyable I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. For where they're situated I thought the price was fair. Friendly service too.

The Granary Restaurant

We popped in for lunch in the middle of a Saturday shopping spree and we’re very happy with our experience at The Granary. To start with the staff are lovely, really friendly and helpful. There was a wide menu of really well priced food, and a specials board too. The food came out quickly and well prepared, the lasagne was fab and my partner has the Mega Breakfast which was really impressive. The atmosphere was lovely and it seems like a bit of a local hotspot which is always nice to see. We’ll definitely be visiting again! Thank you!

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Molesworth Wadebridge

After taking the challenge of having 1 pasty a day during our Cornwall holiday and inevitably sampling pasties from multiple bakeries (which had to supply gluten free options in order to be eligible), the family decided that the traditional pasties from Malcolm Barnecut were consistently at the top of the leaderboard (regular & GF pasties). They offer both freshly baked pasties (have to wait 1.5hrs though for gluten free - so plan ahead), or you can take frozen pasties home to bake in your oven (we tried both options & both were equally as good). Fantastic tasting pasties! ?

The Mowhay

Spent a pleasant evening at The Mowhay for dinner this week. I had lemon sole with chargrilled asparagus and sautéed potatoes and my husband had the burger. The fish was cooked perfectly. Service excellent, good atmosphere in a relaxed setting. Will definitely revisit.

Ring o' Bells Inn

Just had a great two night stay. Perfect location for visiting Padstow.
Large room with comfortable bed. Local pub goers are very friendly as is the landlady. Excellent quality of breakfast.
Lots of car parking room.
Will definitely stay again.

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery Rock

whenever we visit north Cornwall, one of our favourite stops is rock, and a visit to rock bakery, always friendly and welcoming, even when busy, a great range of freshly baked pastries and cakes, this time we had a delicious bacon bap, cappuccino and lovely rock cake, great tasty value for money and well worth a visit ?

Baker Tom's Bread

Had 2 x loaves of bread and a focaccia as part of a too good to go bag, the bread is the best I have had in a long time and will be returning to purchase more. I'm from and living in Devon but often in Cornwall so will be getting Baker Tom bread when I can! :)

Tim's Place

So glad we came here for a meal. One of my favourite quiche was on the menu and it was served hot which was great. The salad that came with it was amazing. The staff are lovely. It was a superb meal.
Brought some cake home and can recommend the carrot cake.
We will be back as can’t wait to return

Carriages Restaurant

Went to Carriages yesterday for breakfast on the bank holiday and had the breakfast bap with bacon and sausage. The sausages were cooked to perfection! The food was amazing and is well catered to people with dietary needs (one of our party has a gluten intolerance, and they ensured that the intolerance was well catered for). Very bubbly staff. Would recommend to go just for the breakfast.

Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten free bread on the full English breakfasts and for the breakfast bap. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

Kid-friendliness: Offer a child’s breakfast on the menu.

Rock Fish and Chips

Hands down the best fish and chips I have ever had! Jack and his team never fail to deliver, exceptional quality every time and worth every penny ? would highly recommend the megrim sole and the monkfish scampi with the best homemade tartare sauce ever!

Beach Box Polzeath

Took the family out for tea 10/8/25 got 2 pizzas, 2 different loaded fries and a bacon cheese burger, we all couldn't stop commenting on how nice it all was. It the best pizza I have ever tasted, my son said he's saving his pocket money till we come back so he can buy more burgers he loved it that much. Great staff, great service, great food, you must try this little gem, in a beautiful location...

Beach Box Wadebridge

Great lattes after a dog walk on the Camel Trail this morning. Really good to see the Wadebridge Beach Box open during the winter now. Really tasty lattes, friendly and polite staff. Plenty on the menu... give it a try ?

Galleon Beach Cafe

Amazing pizzas. Friendly service. The staff work really hard to produce a tasty fresh pizza. Yes you do have to wait but crack open a rattler and enjoy the atmosphere!!
