Having their version of beef wellington is not to be missed! I loved everything about this small pub. We’ve been in the UK for about 10 months but one of the best pubs we’ve ever been ? lovely staff and tasty food. Selling their local beer which was really delish! If you ever come by this village, definitely worth visiting!

Whenever we visit Cornwall we always book in for dinner here one night. It is such a lovely pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is delightful. Highly recommend for a good dinner ?

We visited from across the road on the campsite, we had a drink in the beer garden at the front and then went in for food. We could choose where we wanted to sit and service was very friendly and quick. We had barbecued chicken skewer and a gammon egg and chips. Both meals were great portions sizes and absolutely delicious. Home cooked, boiling hot and even the barbecue sauce was so tasty! Would definitely visit again

We ate here as a family earlier this week and it was such a wonderful experience. The team here make you feel so welcome from the minute you walk through the door. They really made a fuss of our son who really felt at home here. They couldn’t do enough for you. The food here is good quality home cooked food. The beef wellington was amazing and the menu is reasonably priced. It is too often you see businesses get hit by the negative on trip advisor and not enough of the positive hence my review. We enjoyed it here so much we booked for the following evening. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. Scott, Sam and Tyler.

What a fantastic place. The food was absolutely superb, especially the beef Wellington. The staff are lovely and friendly especially Bernie. She is fantastic with kids and had our eldest in stitches and had him taking our order and delivering it to the kitchen. We went there twice on our holiday and we very impressed both times. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful place.

What a great little find. Superb food, atmosphere and top rate customer service (and they have my favourite Mermaid gin). Planning a return trip for Sunday lunch .... if the beef wellington is on the menu! Made a booking for husbands birthday - Bernie decorated the table and made him feel really special on his birthday. A chance find that will lead to many returns. Thank you so much - really brilliant.
Lovely staff, very welcoming. We have 2 fussy eaters and nothing was to much trouble for them. Amazing food would 100% recommend, booked to go back.

We went there last night with my family -as we were on holiday in the area -and I cant tell you how absolutely lovely the staff are, so warm and friendly and inviting.We had a delicious meal that not only looked fantastic but tasted amazing to....I have a very fussy 8 year old when it comes to restaurant food, he picked his favorite home cooked meal spagetti bolognese (I didn't hold much hope of him eating it) but he demolished it and said it was the amazing!My family would 100% recommend this pub!I would suggest however that you book a table to avoid disappointment!

Went there whilst on holiday quiet and peaceful surroundings very peaceful no rowdiness polite and welcoming staff and a relaxing atmosphere for families ,lovely food. I will be returning this week
