Surprisingly, this Costa is very spacious with a really friendly atmosphere from the customers.When the weather is good, the sun steams through the windows adding to the overall friendly ambiencence.Staff were polite and friendly and we had a great coffee and cup of tea.

One of the worst Costa experiences ever.Called for tea and a slice of cake in the afternoon.No cake, as staff member busy relining the display case ( cake appeared after we had sat down).We had a tea and a coffee. The tea was awful, made with hot not boiling water. So cool it was drinkable straight from the pot, only due to the low temperature it wouldn't brew, so was weak and horrible.Surely staff are trained how to make tea.

Took my little girl in on Sunday 8th January for a hot chocolate and a cake. Both female staff members were polite and could not do enough to make our visit enjoyable. From making my 7 year old feel like a grown up with her own hot drink that was at a safe temperature, to carrying the tray over as my arm is currently in a cast. Went above and beyond and would definitely return when in barrowThanks for the hospitality ladies :)

This place has improved loads in recent weeks. The last 12 months tables weren't being cleared and it had become a real bugbear of mine. It now looks a lot cleaner and more welcoming. Furniture and tables have been moved around and new searing in the window. A lot nicer place to sit in than it had become
