Trying a takeaway in a different town is always high risk, but we needn’t have worried when we placed an order at Lake Raj. The word food does not do justice the delicious sensations our tastebuds enjoyed when we ate their chicken tikka masala, vegetable korma, bajis and much more. We ordered a takeaway but could tell when we went to collect that everyone around was having the time of their life and we were in for a treat. Best enjoyed after a long trek where calories don’t exist and pleasure is simply a mouthful away.

Best vegan meal we have had outside of Bradford and made with fresh vegetables. We work locally and had never tried this place before this week, we just assumed it would be tourist standard of food . We just got a takeaway but will be back again to eat inside.

Wow not only is Raj the nicest most professional person I have met but the food is the best ever! My husband, mum and I will be coming back to stay in a hotel just to visit this amazing place! We have been 3 times over Christmas and we don't want to leave the lakes to go back to Yorkshire mainly because of this restaurant! We highly recommend! Thank you so much for you hospitality! I had the pleasure of dining at Lake Raj restaurant this evening for the very first time with my family, and I must say, the food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I would highly recommend and look forward to dining there again in the future.

Food brilliant, price decent. The only thing that bothered me was there wasn't enough staff for how busy it was. We arrived at 7.30 and it was packed. It's only small so that's fine. There was a table that wasn't cleaned away the whole time we was there. If your always that busy, why not get another member of staff to clean the tables? Other than that, the guy who served the food was brilliant
