We were met by the owners David and Deborah, and from start to finish, they were so helpful. The breakfast was excellent, the room was comfortable, clean and nice. The location of the New Bank was just perfect in the middle of the town, with outstanding views from the window of the lake. The car parking at the New Bank is great too.

We had a beautiful room at the top of the house (room 9) with wonderful views of the Lake. The bedroom was charming and the en-suite shower room was great with a large cubicle, nice toiletries and big white fluffy towels. Debs and Dave could not have been more friendly and helpful. It felt more like staying with friends and we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you both for helping to make our little holiday with our friends so special. The breakfast was amazing too, beautifully cooked with good quality ingredients. I wish I could cook like that! The building is ideally situated just minutes walk from the lakeside and the cute little town centre. Another joy was the little 16th Century Inn called The Hole in't Wall less than a 1 minute walk away. Such a delightful place and, on first arriving one of the lovely staff (I wish I could remember his name, but I'm getting to that certain age, haha) gave us a little of the history of the building, which was fascinating. Lovely home cooked food too. We loved our stay and would also recommend a tour of the Lakes with Goat tours and hiring a boat from Bowness Marina boat hire for a lovely trip on Windermere. We will definitely be back!

Couldn't fault this place, David and Deborah are wonderful hosts, making us feel so welcome. The B&B location is right next to the Windermere lake. The room with the lake view is clean, well maintained and cutely designed. The hosts are very knowledgeable. This a great, quiet, no kids, stay! A beautifully clean tidy hotel with parking at the door. We stayed in room 2 which has views over wee windy streets and also all the goings on on the lake. Perfectly placed with a very short walk to town, and very, very short walk to one of the best old pubs in town. David and Deborah are very plesant and do a mean breakfast. Hard to fault, will recommend and would definitely come again.
