Just had a fantastic meal in this restaurant. Can't fault anything. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Toilets also very clean . I never do reviews but had to with the service and tasty food.

The grubby carpet, shabby furnishings and decor should have been a warning, but we were already being shown to our table and thought it was too late to back out! We ordered the set menu. The prawn crackers were ok but it went badly downhill from there. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was like wallpaper paste. The crispy duck wasn’t crispy, it was lumpy (not shredded), dried up and had clearly been re-heated. The main course was awful. Stodgy rice with two chicken dishes that were inedible. The chicken was chewy and the sauce stodgy and luke-warm. It was so bad that we left most of it after only a couple of mouthfuls. The set menu should have come with tea or coffee but we just wanted to get out of the awful place. I can honestly say this was the worst Chinese restaurant we’ve ever been in (and we’ve been in quite a few). Nothing would tempt us to ever set foot in this place again

The young Chinese woman who served my wife and I was extremely attentive and provided a quick and efficient service.I asked for extra duck sauce,and this was quickly brought to me.The cost was very reasonable.Definitely recommend.Highly impressed!

Lovely food, fresh cooked fantastically great menu choice and set meals. Staff very good and helpful, helped as we altered the set menu which seemed no problem. Excellent all round if had time would go back, will return when next in Bowness

My father's generation barely survived Mao-era China eating plain cabbage and tofu, the cheapest and easiest dishes to prepare. They sell the same dish here for £15. That is all that you need to know.

Fancied a Chinese and found this place just down the road from where we were staying. We opted for the set menu of soup, followed by mixed combination of spring rolls, ribs, seaweed, prawn toast and chicken skewers. Presented nicely and hot just wasn't keen on the sauce on the ribs. For main I had Thai green curry which was tasty and just the right amount. My wife had chicken chiwnmein which she also enjoyed. The service was good and effective and drinks were topped up. It's OK for a basic Chinese meal nothing fancy.

Had a lovely meal here sunday night. Got the special for £17.50. The mixed combination starter and salt and pepper chicken with fried rice was delicious. Will definitely come here again when I'm back in 3 weeks.Service was excellent.

We needed something really quick and these three dishes were done within 5 minutes. Obviously these are fast food Chinese dishes, so I won't review them according to traditional Chinese food standards. The fried rice and stir-fry noodles were enough to satisfy our hungry stomachs and the lamb was extremely tender.

Loved this place. I don't really understand some of the negative reviews, Service was excellent, the waitress was lovely and the room was very comfortable and a perfect Chinese restaurant vibe. We had char siu, pak choi, salt and pepper squid, spring rolls and rice and each of these were as good as we have had anywhere. My wife was born in Hong Kong and I lived there for 4 years so have some experience of Chinese food. Well done and thanks
