On the way home to Suffolk the Husband bought back a salted caramel flapjack and malteser tiffin! These were amazing especially the salted caramel flapjack… the best flapjack I have had…

On holiday in Ulverston from Scotland and during a visit to Ravensglass we decided to drive through Boot and Ulpha to get back home and discovered this absolute gem.....husband and I had tea, soft drink and gingerbread. I have never tasted gingerbread like it. We shared it and I wish I had the whole piece to myself. Had a lovely chat with the women working there who was very friendly. I just wanted to go back every day to try more cakes and food.well worth a visit and if we come back to Ulverston next year will definitely be back.

Incredible homemade cakes at really good value prices, in a lovely peaceful setting. A must stop stop-off for a quick rest and some refreshments.

Pass this place regularly but I'm very early or late and closed, the food is superb, ham sandwich like my Mum used to make, beautiful carved, not wafer thin. Cumberland Sausage next time I think! Worth bobbing in

In the middle of nowhere, it's an OMG moment, if your lost ?! A small place that sells everything you would expect, bacon, sausage, sandwiches, cakes, hot and cold drinks. Immaculate and clean. Toilet! Friendly service and the lovely Holly, who is so helpful.

We had delicious cumberland sausage and egg sandwiches, latte, ginger cake and carrot cake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is fairly priced with hot food cooked fresh to order, and tasty homemade cakes. Also a beautiful location with benches right next to a stream. A perfect lunch spot for us :)

Stopped at this great little place on a day out in the car. What a fantastic find! Large car park with seating next to a running stream. Staff were very friendly. Lovely cuppa and amazing Lemon Drizzle cake that was very tangy. Absolutely awesome. Will definitely be returning.

the cakes are excellent and the coffee is excellent, and it's slightly cheaper than other places I visit on the bike, despite being in the middle of nowhere!

we weren’t actually planning to stop here. We woke up late and had to check out of our cottage so didn’t have time for our morning cup of tea. When we saw this sign, we stopped and had a tea and cofee along with an amazing selection of home made cakes ?. Will definitely come here again, lovely people and service with lots of seating a lovely stream.

Chucking it down with rain yesterday. On motorbikes. Much needed break from the weather. This place is in the middle of nowhere. Coffee and Chocolate Orange cookie slab. Lovely. And a bonus wooden shed thing to eat and drink under in the

We found this in the middle of nowhere and it was an excellent stop. Everything made fresh and the bread was so soft and fresh. Would recommend to anyone passing by as an excellent option. Prices were reasonable as well.

Great stop over if your motor biking, cycling, walking, or just passing by in the car. Fab views, lovely friendly staff, delicious homemade cakes/ refreshments and not badly priced. The cake cupboard is well stocked with homemade treats, water and fresh eggs. Would highly recommend this little gem ?Parking: There is also a portable toilet.
