Restaurants in Broughton-in-Furness
Blacksmiths Arms, Broughton Mills
Broughton-in-FurnessI have been to a lot of pubs in the UK and by far this is the best food I’ve had in a pub!
We had the Lamb Henry, Falafel with hummus, pork belly, and sourdough bread on the side. Every single dish was cooked to perfection!
The lamb was juicy, succulent and falling off the bone. The pork belly, Falafel and sourdough were moorish. The consistency of the hummus was spot on! And, I am not usually a fan of sticky toffee pudding in general but the one they made at this pub was absolutely delicious! The cake was soft and moist, and the sauce was perfectly balanced.
Don’t have any pictures of what we ate because we were gobsmacked by how good the food was and were busy enjoying it.
Will be definitely visiting this pub again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the lakes to try this pub out!

The Crosby Cake Cupboard & Snack Shed
Crosbythwaite Farm, Broughton-in-FurnessPicked up a custard cream blondie from the snack shed on the way home from a lovely few days away. It tasted amazing and was big enough to get me through my 4 night shifts when back at work. Will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again ???

Broughton Village Bakery
Prince's St, Broughton-in-FurnessI feel silly giving 4 stars for the food because it was excellent! The quiches and custard tart couldn't have been better. But, as it's a bakery, I was hoping for a baked cake - a Belgian bun, cinnamon bun, almond croissant - something along those lines. There was a wide selection of tray bakes, but the choc flapjack was disappointing.
Service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cosy. Well worth a visit!
