Visited on Friday for afternoon tea with my grandma, sister and son, Katie couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly! The service was second to none and the food was exceptional! As we sat inside, some of the savoury food was served lovely and warm which made it even nicer! The drinks were lovely and served really quickly after being ordered. I also collected some afternoon teas to take away and everyone that had some was blown away by how delicious and fresh the food was! People were particularly impressed by the scones both sweet and savoury, would absolutely recommend and visit again in a heartbeat ?

My daughter booked us in here as a birthday gift for me during our stay in Cumbria. She chose it based on reviews, and it was a great choice. She had communicated with the team prior to our visit and said they had been lovely as well as being considerate when we were slightly delayed travelling from Manchester on the day! She had paid a deposit and then she just settled, by card, on the day. We parked in the nearby Cecil Street Car Park and this is a three minute walk to the Tea Rooms. We received a warm welcome by the ladies at Anazao and we were shown straight to our table on arrival. The drinks were lovely and the selection on the afternoon tea was just amazing! See my pictures. We loved the cheese whirl and chocolate millionaire shortcake the best, but absolutely everything was delicious. A real treat. We could not manage the last two cakes each, and this was no problem as they were boxed up for us to take away. We had them later on, back at our hotel. All in all this was a lovely experience, thank you so much ❤️ Highly recommended.

Lovely little tea room off the beaten track but well worth a visit. AMAZING traybakes and cakes, all made by themselves, and wonderful soups and hot chocolate. Such a lovely friendly lady as well!
