The pizza stand looked as if it were open (food & fillings not cleared away & not covered) but no one around to serve. Eventually a lady appeared but said she wasn't taking any orders because she was due to be going home at 4pm. It was 3.15!! I later phoned to complain & added that the pizza stall was frequently closed. The manager said he didn't have enough trained staff to man the pizza stand but when pressed, said he'd speak to the member of staff. I found his attitude unprofessional & it's no wonder that the store gets poor reviews.

i came in the shop regarding a refund of £50 pounds as it had no entered my bank account yet and i was wondering what was going on. I was approached rudely by Jo with horrible costumer service she had spocken to me as though i was stupid and talked down on me for wanting my refund.

Arrived Friday night and completed a large shop. Went to pay for the goods to find no tills open only self scan. I asked and was told only self scanning open despite 6 staff standing chatting to each other. It’s the last time I shop in Asda.it is also the most untidy supermarket in Carlisle. Pallets all over the place, empty shelves and this is not a one off.

Shocking......wonder why I don't shop here anymore. Shrink Wrap Pallets all over the floor, bulging items sticking out, cage trolleys scattered during the day with no people working Hazard for small children wondering. NO cleaning hygiene rota in the customer toilets advising when last checked (floor dripping wet another Hazard, toilet papers strewn on the floor with feceas) and as for the Restaurant I could not believe what I was hearing. Customers were walking away to be told NO SOUP we ran out yesterday (YESTERDAY, this is today), NO Mince Pies either, the tray bakes looked sad and for those small dough bites, tables were covered in trays, cutlery dirty for customers at the station and to ask for a simple Mocha for some reason the person added cocoa powder to my mug then to a machine that already dispense mocha . This was a Foul disgusting taste and I couldn't even bring myself to complain for what I witnessed today during lunchtime. ? Which was actually quiet that dayUPDATE: Unfortunately reading all your other reviews from Asda here, it seems to administer that nothing has been highlighted or dealt with from previous people over the months (years) and seems to show the same reply each time too. Doubt somehow that this will be fixed or remedied 'Tired, Damp, and Exhausting'

Bought a tv cashier forgot to scan rewards app. When went to customer services were told they couldn't do anything after it went through. So through no fault of our own we loss out. Guess thats last visit to asda carlisle. Never seen staff so unhelpful.

we pop in for perry wine which is £6 here and £10 in Scotland yet depite being the nearest store to the border they seldom have any stock in .

Seems to be going downhill. Very very poorly stocked with lots of empty shelves. And the male toilets were absolutely disgusting. Car park overflowing with empty trollies yet only about 29 at store entrance. It’s evident that they are cutting back on staff as it never used to be like this. Time of visit 12 midday on a Sunday
