The food when dining in is great. Takeaways can take longer than expected and sometimes cold or missing part of the dessert but this is rare. Give it a try

Burnt yourkshire pudding and although I got a vegetable no meat it was same veg and potatoes as the meat dinner no extra but same price £31.90 delivered and I am gutted by the meal.

What more can I say, except this was THE best burger I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, presented well and the sauce/garnish was brilliant. Definitely recommended

Absolutely appalling,ordered our meals at 16.30 through Just eat was told it would be with us at 18.00, Three phone callls later our food finally arrived ...COLD.No apologies and to be told the driver had knocked on our door but there was no answer ,what a lie,first of all our German Shepherd would have barked if anyone came to the door and secondly we have a camera outside the door and guess what unless you are invisible,then you never came to our door. Will not be ordering from here again.

We were late returning from visiting family in the North East so decided to order take out. I used food hub to order. The app said the food would not be ready for an hour and a half so I called Blue Rare to check. The young Scottish lady on the phone could not have been more helpful. She went to check on our order and asked if we could collect in 15 minutes. She explained that we might have a short wait but she would do what she could. Called round, which was no issue as we only live around the corner. Another young lady asked me if she could help, again very polite, pleasant and helpful. Our food was ready for us. When we got home our food was piping hot, plentiful and of fabulous quality. I had a children's roast beef dinner (more than enough for me) and it was superb. My husband had gammon steak. I had food envy and couldn't resist pinching a mushroom and a bit of gammon. Couldn't fault either the service or the food. Can't understand why we don't use Blue Rare for takeaway more often!! We will now. It was lovely.

Ordered though Foodhub no problems app said 35 minutes to deliver and true to the word it was this was our first time getting a meal from Bluerare it was absolutely amazing great presentation and plenty of everything we will definitely recommend and will be ordering again everything was perfectly cooked and lovely and warm well done chef’s

Ordered a takeaway one week ago via JustEat. Called the restaurant afterwards to advise of dietary requirements as advised by the app. The staff were ridiculously unhelpful, to a degree never experienced before anywhere (and we eat out a lot). As a family, we have ordered food from Bluerare a few times going back years and never had an issue with allergies. They advised they’d have to cancel and so I agreed to cancel the entire order and asked for a refund. According to the app, the order was never cancelled and the food was delivered. The food was not delivered and neither was my refund. The restaurant will now not answer their calls and in the absence of a single social media page, I have no choice but to leave a review. If a refund does not appear within the next week, my only recourse will be Small Claims. The amount they are trying to retain may only be £33 but I do question how many others they have kept. Had it not been for the fact that they were SO unhelpful I probably wouldn’t have been looking for the refund and they’d have gotten away with it. I really hate to leave bad reviews online but this restaurant has left me with no choice.

Absolutely DO NOT buy a salad from here...?. Terrible for the price. I wish I could put a picture up. So disappointing. £5.95 for a couple of leaves of iceberg 4 cherry tomatoes and 3 small bits of chicken. Plus 4 soggy croutons. Glad I waited nearly an hour for it..??

Excellent food , big portions , very reasonable prices , friendly staff .Could maybe stock some non alcoholic beer for the people who are driving ,had to make do with Coke but that's just a small issue which didn't detract from a very enjoyable evening, highly recommend the Bluerare. Enjoy.
