Great pub/restaurant this and my commendation to the bar maid who sorted us. I think she was Sarah? Very attentive and explained the menu and the specials and how to save a few quid. This even though she was clearly very busy. Pool table, big screen sport and lovely beer garden, the Harraby Pub & Kitchen ticks all the boxes for sure and it is dog friendly. Wide range of food on the menu from small plates of wings to all day breakfasts. Easily accessible from a quiet car park off the main road and great for wheel chair users as a fairly level site. Food was above average and enjoyed by us four on an Easter Friday that was pretty busy and great atmosphere in the pub. If you're in the area this is a safe bet for sure.

We discovered this pub by accident, but really pleased we did. The welcome was friendly, service helpful and efficient and when the food was served all three courses were delightful. The meal was reasonably priced and great value for money.

Stopped in here.for a quick cheap tea before going to the theatre. Arrived very hungry and left very happy. Amazing service,very polite and friendly. Food was of very good quality for the budget, really cannot fault the place.. well except the man talking about his endoscope experience on the next table. ?Parking: 2 range rovers parked like girls.. tossers

We went for lunch it was presented vey plain few chips 3 tiny corn on the cob and small piece of chicken it was hunters chicken not worth the money it used to be great and the window seals were full of dead bugs and dirt not very hygienic very disappointing not go back for a meal drink was fine they need a good chef

What a fabulous stop over x we walked in and were greeted by the sunny Sarah x x what a delightful lady. We were made super welcome, felt like locals from the moment we got there!! Great food, really reasonable. I had the tikka curry and fluffy rice, very tasty. My husband had the half chicken combo with an extra portion of salad and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat next to a table with two mums and five children!! They were like church mice, beautifully mannered and quiet whilst they ate their meals. I would definitely recommend this fabulous place. Natalie the other bar staff was also a delight. Both of the bar staff definitely deserve praise x thanks guys, we have saved this in our phones for a definite come back again when we are at Carlisle x x

The Harraby Inn! Who would have thought it would grow from a pigeon fanciers local with a name for the men's main supping area as "The Loft", to its present self.Brown Ale and a pint of mixed have now disappeared into antiquity to be replaced with an array of drinks that are priced to suit anyone's pocket. However, the food is my stand out reason for visiting. Price usually helps determine satisfaction, at the Harraby, satisfaction comes with a great meal at a low price, not forgetting the friendly service.
