Lovely big room, a bit shabby around the edges but a huge comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was surprisingly good with lots to choose from the continental breakfast.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, professional and welcoming. The room was generally clean but a couple of areas let it down. Although it appeared the room has been redecorated I feel housekeeping could have been more observant. The bed was great as were the pillows, floor clean, bathroom clean. The downside was, the heater clicks when heating and although you can manually alter the heat up or down, you cannot change the times so you are always having to change it as it reverts to the next setting. In the night, the ticking of the heater is annoying. In the corner of the room, there was some black mould that could have easily been cleaned off. Around the bath tap, there was mould, a good scrub would have seen this gone. The soap dispensers needed cleaning around the top of the holder (neck of bottle). The fan (stand alone) needed the blades and grid cleaning. Everything else was great so these small items were a shame. After a shower, although the extractor fan was on, the room became incredibly damp in feel. After being out for the evening, there was still mist on the bathroom mirror when we returned. It appears the extraction system isn’t very efficient. There are no USB sockets in the rooms at all! Thankfully the staff kindly leant me a plug. Room 24.Having the Beefeater next door is great.

Disappointed. Although the staff were quick to change a dirty sheet. We later also found only one hand and one bath towel provided. The heating was broken. The extractor didn't work and dripped water back down on you. Yuck

Nothing to complain about in the slightest. A wonder to stay with a cozy atmosphere, comfortable beds, polite staff and very clean rooms. I would love to visit again at some point in my travels. ??

Actually here as closest reasonably priced accommodation for Dumfries . Room and reception as expected. Beefeater next door also as expected along with painfully slow service.

Ok so as I’m writing I’m still currently staying at the hotel but -25th I woke up and got ready I opened my room door to find a Christmas card there this instantly brought joy, by the time I headed downstairs I was told that breakfast had already finished but that perhaps since it’s Christmas Day I never know the restaurant could very well give me some coffee and toast. This was @10.20 breakfast had finished about 20 minutes ago. Understandably so after receiving a ‘no food’ from the restaurant, I headed back to the hotel reception with some dismay of course.Karen you are a true credit to your team and you represented just how far little things can go without even knowing it. Karen gave me a box of Oreo selection and some crisps after I had told her this (what a Christmas breakfast) I was grateful for it. You didn’t have to but you did, so I thank you.Merry Christmas to you and the young man I had met in reception late night of 24TH who was also very polite and helpfulMy stays been very positive thus far.Rooms: Room was impeccable and had everything I needed, it all worked too which is always a bonus.

A very good place for a excellent breakfast and rest breaking your journey. Lovely venue.

Decent hotel, is what it is for a premier inn and a beefeater, staff are sound. No room service though and internet goes out constantly.

Excellent spot for the motorway.Typical premier Inn comfort.Good food in attached pub.

Excellent location, just off the M6. Premier plus room was fantastic and very clean.Food in the onsite Beefeater restaurant was very good. Service in hotel and restaurant was extremely good.

Good breakfast, very helpful staff. All that was disappointing was that the tables needed clearing, and ours was a little sticky. But it seemed only two staff were working hard to keep up with demand.

First stay in a Premier Inn to break our journey from north of Scotland to Devon, what a pleasant surprise! Clean, comfortable, quiet and good value for money. We will be staying again.

It was okay, but in room 40 the WiFi was pretty much non-existent, and the hotel didn't have air-conditioning. However, the room was clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. Being just off the M6, it was surprisingly popular for a Monday night in October. The attached Beefeater was suitably mediocre, as always. Nothing really wrong with it, but more a place to stay because you have to rather than want to.

Stayed at this Premier Inn 3 times now. Clean comfortable room. This visit at back of hotel so quiet from traffic noise and could open bedroom window for fresh air. This room didn't have air-conditioning which wasn't a problem on this visit. Ate at the Beefeater next door. We were there on a Saturday night early evening and it was busy and short staffed, a few tables having to ask where their meals were although we didn't wait overly long for ours. Breakfast next morning was fine with plenty of everything.
