A very big Thank you to Gavin & Johnny & all the staff for the service we received for my Mum's 90th birthday celebrations on Tuesday. The upstairs venue room was set out perfectly and all our needs and requests were catered for. Nothing was too much trouble for Gavin & Johnny. It was perfect! This was a really nice friendly family pub/reastraunt. Only had a pint but atmosphere was genuinely lovely. Staff wher friendly and was serves the second I reached the bar awesome.didnt eat any food but saw what folk wher eating and the people who had finished had empty plates so. In my book ther dood must be good.

Went in for a dinner and the food was truly magnificent. No problems with staff. Understandable that some meals were sold out because of the popularity and amount of people in depending on the days. Truly excellent Gavin and team members.

Lovely staff, very helpful, the food was excellent, staff courteous even when extremely busy, they open at 11.30am on a Sunday and the queue for a table was out of the door at 1pm, so go early to get a table, roast dinner was lovely, and the puddings are fantastic and very big!.

Attended a function in one or your upstairs function rooms 2nd Feb , beautiful room staffed by 2 lovely barstaff .Very welcoming atmosphere and would highly recommend for any function .
I went to the Auctioneer for the first time with a party of friends for lunch on Tuesday. The place was packed! I would recommend booking. The food was good, with a reasonable choice including vegetarian. The service was excellent especially considering how busy it was.

Delicious, great quality food at a great price and lovely staff. Always have a great meal when we visit here and it didn’t disappoint today. I had scampi and my mum and roast turkey. Nothing too much trouble, food top notch, staff amazing!

Very poor, no steak. Staff tried to serve both diet coke and ginger beer In the same glass?. Food was very very slow to arrive at the table. Staff where not very friendly.
