It was my first visit here for lunch yesterday and I can honestly say I was not disappointed!After a little while, it was a difficult decision, soo many yummy choices on the menu, I went for the House burger with Oak Smoked Cheddar and it was absolutely delicious? My friend ordered The Big Breakfast burger (no photo of that, sorry) but it was huge and delicious!! Lovely atmosphere, very attentive staff, look forward to visiting again, check it out!

Visited late December with my husband for Christmas lunch and wow it was devine! We both had turkey roast with all the trimmings,gorgeous puddings and few very Moorish cocktails! This is a wonderful restaurant with a great vibe and excellent service. Special shout out to Harry and the lovely ava !

Went to the old bank for dinner today, greeted by friendly staff. Nice decor. Starter was amazing, hummus with hot toast n carrot sticks.. I ordered the chicken kebab which was huge & had an amazing mango sauce, it came with crinkle cut chips & flat bread, I changed my accompanying sauce from curry to a whisky sauce which was delicious. My other half had the burger with black pudding bacon. We will definitely go back

Why haven’t we been here before? My husband is from Carlisle and we visit annually to see relatives yet have never ventured in. We had lovely cocktails and dinner was devine. Will definitely visit again….

Just returned home from an outstanding, festive inspired, 2 course lunch. The food quality is clearly the best and coupled with Matt’s creativity and cooking skills, simply makes it the best in Carlisle. The front of house team are very welcoming and made today a very enjoyable experience. People were queuing to enter onto the street as we left….sums it up! We’ll be back soon, thank you!

We recently went along as a table of 7 for the Christmas brunch. This is our 3rd year and is now a tradition we look forward to. The staff are always so welcoming and go out their way to make sure you have the best time. Food as lovely as always and the cocktails kept flowing. Went with my family to celebrate being married - the decor is fantastic, the staff were engaging, welcoming and gave additional options since we were vegetarian. The food was amazing, my wife had a veggie burger and I had the mushroom,beetroot Wellington (wow, was amazing). We both had halloumi tacos to start and they were spot on aswell. We only mentioned that we got married that day and they went out their way & provided a bottle of champagne free of charge. Lovely gesture. 5/5 would recommend.

Went for the festive bottomless brunch on Saturday and it was amazing! Food was unreal, and they were very attentive with asking us for drinks, couldn’t have asked for more, definitely recommend?
