There’s far too many takeaways in West Cumbria but Mario’s is the only one I ever use when I get a rare takeaway. The owner is a lovely, friendly bloke who can’t do enough for you, he also seems to be in there most days so works very hard. The pizzas, dips, and doner are delicious and it’s almost always on time. All ingredients especially vegetables seem fresh which is sometimes something you don’t see from pizza shops. Cheap too if you don’t get too much.

There's a reason why I always leave my mobile number when I place an order. Whether it's Foodhub, Just Eat or UberEats, every delivery driver for every order I've placed has contacted me to say they've arrived WITHOUT FAIL.For context, I live 3 floors up, and ive a landlord who refuses to fix the doorbell to my flat.For Marios Pizza in this case, whether the order note was missed or the delivery driver didn't read it or worst case scenario couldn't be arsed to read it.I ordered for 7:15, not a phone call, got to 9pm. Rang them up, apparently it was on its way.10:30pm still no order, customer service from Foodhub confirmed they'd delivered at 7:15pm. But didn't have the time it seems to drop a quick phone call. So, it just so happened my order has been sat at the front door to the flats 3 floors down... For 3 HOURS might I add. Stone Cold.Shame really, the pizza and Donner meat I ordered are spot on. Shame I had to warm them up to somewhat enjoy my Takeaway order.Next time Marios Pizza, read your order notes. I'm pretty sure reading is a skill needed in any line of work these days.

Absolutely disgusting. Made us wait 2 hours for food phoned up twice and each time said it would arrive in 10 mins. Waited till after closing time and kept ending the phone then asked where is our food to be answered with a mouthful of swearing and being called stupid. Will certainly never be ordering from here again, we understand that takeaways are sometimes busy but no need for the attitude as we waited hours for what we ordered to never end up showing.

First time ordering here and sorry to say your food is disgusting we have left a full spag bol pizza the meat tastes off, half a box of chips gone in the bin there was more bad chips in there than good, first and last time ordering from here?

All i can say is wow , the onion rings are unreal!!!i got donner meat, chips and onion rings, the food is soooo nice. We got the food real speedy and the guy is top notch. Ill see you again.. p.s donner meats the best ive had!
