Managed to get a table for four on new years day, even though they had sold out of a few items we all had a beautiful breakfast.Extremely polite staff, would highly recommend.

Quaint coffee shop in the heart of Cockermouth town, lovely atmosphere inside and food options were great. A lovely little place for a coffee and breakfast, whether you’re looking for a full English or smashed avocado. Dog friendly too!

Always welcome with my two dogs. I like the seasonal hot chocolate and latte flavours. I had the kids fish gujons - these need to be in an adult sandwich, they were delicious! Also fab that they have a canine menu with chews to settle the dogs. The other customers are always super friendly and chatty too, lovely atmosphere.

Small, friendly cafe/restaurant just off the main High Street. Great menu, great coffee! Highly recommend the ‘Bert’ (think BLT but better!)

Been here a few times for lunch. It is reasonably priced, service is good, the food and coffee are excellent.

Visited off the cuff with my wife, very pleasantly surprised! I had a burger and chips,.the quality was excellent and it was piping hot. The Mrs had a veggie Hash which she said was great. The coffee was also fantastic,I'm not much of a coffee drinker either.A very good experience!Vegetarian options: Veggie options available

beautiful food, probably one of the best breakfasts i’ve ever eaten, all other members of party agreed. the cafe itself is beautifully thought out and decorated, the attention to detail really compliments the overall atmosphere of the place. the staff are welcoming and lovely. dogs are also welcome and they even have a menu for them. great place highly recommend.

Wasn’t too impressed by Fikas food but they have good staff and interior.Great interior design with good attention to detail. But we had some problems meaning we probably won’t return. Waited to take our food order for a long time, other people who came in later than us got theirs ordered sooner. They didn’t make one persons meal until everyone else had finished. As they said they couldn’t find potatoes.. The food itself wasn’t that great. Good salmon and soup but other things were just a bit disappointing.. Hot choc was a bit bland, had many better. The cream was good though. Malteser was nice.Staff were nice about everything and apologetic about the missing food. They also let part of our group return to use the toilet.Just in terms of 1-5 and 5 being perfect then our experience was just mediocre.

Popped in spontaneously this morning to escape the rain. Had coffees, hit chocolates, scones and GF cake. All delicious!

We popped in with the dog for lunch around 1pm. It was busy but they still had a table for two, which was lucky for us. Both the food and coffee were lovely, and even though everything was cooked fresh we didn't have to wait too long.

Our Airbnb owners recommended this fabulous little restaurant. Two very cheerful welcoming women greeted and served us and we felt very at home. Food was excellent and I recommend you stop by.

Just cake available for food by the time we arrived, but that was fine. Plenty to choose from, some with more unusual flavours. Friendly and helpful staff. Cakes and coffee delicious. LOVED the 'ceiling decoration' of a large birch tree branch!
