Lovely cash only cafe hidden from the road but not too far to walk. Friendly staff, good choice of food and cakes, they'd sold the last jacket potato the scrambled eggs on toast were tasty though.

First visit today for lunch and what an absolute gem of a find We both had the chicken and bacon pie… wow it was so delicious and packed full of meat Our waitress was absolutely charming as was the chef If you are in this area please pay this gorgeous place a visit but I would advise booking as it’s very popular. Thank you so much we will definitely be returning Barry & Graham

Lovely little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, great service and very friendly staff. Nice choice of food to choose from. Would highly recommend for afternoon tea. Reasonably priced, just make sure you have cash as they don’t take card payments.

Loved this little cafe, so quaint and focused on the love of birds and red squirrels. We sat outside and it was lovely watching the birds come down to the feeders. The service was excellent, catering for Vegan diet and accommodating us. Will definitely call again if we pass by the area of Cockermouth.

My friend and I called in today for a cuppa but ended up with lunch egg and chips and a lovely cup of tea. Staff were lovely, very friendly. Wish we lived here so we could call in more often my friend and I would love to make a book about all the coffee shops we go into. This would definitely be at the top of our list. We will be coming back to Maryport again and will make a point of calling in for a cuppa.Thank you ladies xxxx

Lovely food and drinks, great service, very friendly staff. The setting of the tea room is very pleasant. The only downsides of the tea room is they don't take card payments plus at the current time there are no squirrels to watch due to squirrel pox in the area. Though you can buy bank transfer as an alternative.

Love this cafe tucked away next to the garden centre. The prawn open sandwich was delicious!
