We booked here for our father's 80th birthday meal, we couldn't have asked for any more with the friendly staff and outstanding food! Relaxing atmosphere, no stress, happy happy happy, thank you! My wife and I will definitely be returning for future Sunday dinner's!! ☺️

Sunday lunch with guests ,what we had was nice but a medium size bowl 3x cauliflower florets 3xbroccoli florets and 9 peices of carrot for 3 adults is awkward everyone was politely refusing veg so the men could have more than a toddler portion on the plate.couldnt say anything as I was paying so the couple said it was fine .veg very aldente more like blanched .yorkshire pudding roast potatoes and meat were nice. puddings nice .we did ask for individual veg on ordering discretly at the bar to avoid people feeling awkward but we were told loudly it was not plated but in a bowl .seasonal wonky veg is not extortionate meat is the expense.that said young staff are a,credit to the pub .not as good as 5 month ago tbh.

A group of us were there last night for a birthday. The food was amazing and I don't think I have ever met more pleasant,, helpful staff, they were fantastic. Fish pie was delicious.
