Breakfast was too greasy and the sausages would be lucky if they were 50% pork. I felt let down as the reviews were good online. On a plus note coffee was good!

Lovely little cafe. Small and cozy.Parking available outside. On entering you recieve a warm welcome. Great selection of foods available at reasonable prices. We had the full breakfast for £7.50.Wow, what a plate full and as a bonus it includes a hot beverage and toast.Lovely atmosphere as everyone involved in any conversations when spoken to.BIG BONUS..... it's dog friendlyDefinitely worth a visit ☺️☺️Dietary restrictions: Everything freshly cooked so if you ask they try to cater for everyoneWheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly ?

We stop here for post ride refreshments almost every week. Hot rolls are well filled and really nice. Lovely quiet courtyard at the back. Definitely recommend.

It was a pleasant and cosy place for light food, brunch and lunches. It is also dog friendly with indoor and outdoor sitting at the rear. The garden had beautiful flowers and created a calm environment.Food was good with plenty of options.Inside got a little too warm at one point, eventually they opened the door. It did get busy at peak lunch hour.Location is great, right on the main street in Dalston.
Stopped here for a quick coffee and bite to eat.Very nice sitting in the garden while the sun was out.Service excellent.Reasonable price. Will call again.

I had the most scrumptious dinner at the Country Kitchen Cafe! My mother and I, who are both Americans, went to Cumbria in the UK to visit my sister, who is also an American but lives there now. She and her British husband took us to the Country Kitchen in Dalston, where we had the most divine chicken, roast potatoes, veggies, my very first Yorkshire pudding, and lovely scones with clotted cream and jam. I will never be able to eat an American scone again. Joyce's daughter, Wendy, served us. She did an amazing job! Everything is prepared and cooked right there. She was incredibly accommodating when it came to individual preferences and dietary needs. It was utterly delightful and I hope to come back some day and visit again!

Very enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere cosy, homely and friendly. The food was served in a very timely manner by a pleasant, outgoing lady. There is a good selection of meals on the menu and a good sized pot of tea is served with the meal. The dining room is small with limited tables but this, in my opinion, only enhancers the cosy "feel" of the Country Kitchen. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit and hope to enjoy many more.
