We went at 12 and there wasn't much choice, I was surprised. We were also given a steak bake instead of a cheese and onion one which meant my daughter didn't get one.Staff were friendly though and shop seemed clean.

Wouldn't go to Gregg's if it was the last shop on earth.

Genuinely speechless at the way i have just been spoken to by Sarah. Came away in tears after the way she spoke to me when i went in to pick up some too good to go bags. It was my first experience with too good to go bags, I sent my mum a screenshot of the order to collect as it would save me driving through and she was informed they couldn’t accept a screenshot, which was absolutely fine, so we drove from barrow to collect. Except the reception i received when i walked into the shop was awful, Sarah spoke to me like a child, was extremely patronising and really rude. I was struggling to navigate the app as it was the first time i had used it, she replied in a patronising voice ‘well i don’t know how to use it’. Awful experience, I will not be returning and feel really upset by the way she spoke to me. She then accused me of clicking collected, which i didn’t, and she was well aware of as my mum had been in 10 minutes prior and they turned her away. In a small town like Dalton everyone knows everyone, the other lady knew my family and knew that we hadn’t collected this already within the 10 minute period. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and genuinely can not believe how she gets away with speaking to customers like this. I would feel apprehensive to go back into the store, never have i experienced anyone speak to me like that. Absolutely appalled. I’m not one to leave reviews especially bad ones, but would hate for anyone else to have to experience this too.

Staff very ignorent for such a small shop how can you miss seeing me and another customer stood there. Food is standard greggs but if you want to be treat like a customer go to barrow or ulverston branch

I must admit the food can be SOMETIMES good but due to the amount of pastry and hardly any meat can be bad not to mention that most of the food i eat seems to be cold yet it is supposed to be hot, take my pasty for instance i come home (2 minute walk) and look forward to a delicous pasty expecting it warm yet it is cold! and who wants a cold pasty on a cold day? well i can say, not me but i must admit the service is good, brilliant even but the food i have is cold and i dispise spending good money on cold food when you expect it hot.
