Broughton Rd, Dalton-in-FurnessSecond time we've stayed here. First time was in the rooms above the Inn and the second was at the cottage. It's a really gorgeous place and the staff seriously go above and beyond for you. We cannot recommend this place enough. Food is always delicious. Drinks are well priced. I have zero issues with The Black Dog Inn and cannot wait to revisit. I've added photos from inside the cottage.Parking: Car park at both sides of the Inn.

Friendly atmosphere.Just two points to note:1- payment is by cash only2 - they do not have a licence to sell alcohol. However, you can bring your own and they will supply suitable glasses. A reasonable corkage charge is applied.

51 Market St, Dalton-in-FurnessWent for our annual Xmas meal, food was amazing, staff were super chatty and made the whole evening even better. There was plenty of room to sit comfortably without someone right next to you. The whole night was great.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance, ladies' bathroom had hand rails.

Abbey Rd, Barrow-in-FurnessI stay in this hotel at least once a year. I keep coming back because it ticks all my boxes. Great prices, the food is really good, the range of beers is top drawer.EV charging close by on Emlyn Street.

Milkshake Madness
62 Market St, Dalton-in-FurnessI came to the Newton Inn carpark Sunday with My polecat and was greeted by the boss and was told exactly what they serve and the prices which all looked and smelt fantastic so I got some corn dogs and waffles and it blew me away better than Disney land in florida and got to urge people to try this food.

Bonus but not done it yet they have an apartment which is to die for. Again dog freindly.Rooms: 5 star.Food & drinks: Definitely not pub food. Exelant.

Sea Breeze Fish Bar
12 Station Rd, Dalton-in-FurnessI just had to write a review because i just had one of the best fish and chip suppers ever. The fish in particular was super fresh and tasty and not drowned in batter. Curry sauce was top notch too. And the price was excellent!

10 Goose Grn, Dalton-in-FurnessWe had a party of six and were well received when we arrived.Fantastic food and a first class service.Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and very interactive with our children (worth 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on her own), which they loved and also really enjoyed there food and time at the brown cow.We spent about 3 hours in total having our meals and relaxing but honestly felt like we'd been in there for about an hour.We'll definitely look forward to returning again in the future.

148 Market St, Dalton-in-FurnessI understand it has changed hands, I was addicted to the chicken curry with proper chunks of chicken but it was a very tasty curry, I used to buy seven at a time as use to take some to friends in Liverpool that also enjoyed them as same in there area the chicken doesn't look real, did try a curry from there when I didn't realise it had changed and it was very salty but going tonight to give it a second chance, otherwise the food is good, quick and they are nice staff so sorry only a 3 star until I try the curry tonight ?Been back since and had the chicken curry and it's better than when I first tried it but just not as good as it was with the big chunks of chicken instead of the stereo type Chinese chicken, its spicy and will deffo carry on using it, will have to try other things on the menu as didnt before as thought the food was not to great but maybe that's changed and got better, only time will tell so upt it to a four star until the chickin looks like chicken again ?

Lucky Star Chinese Takeaway
9 Market Place, Dalton-in-FurnessA mistake was made on ordering which I missed when they repeated the order but they replaced it anyway. The food was really fresh and tasty. Far better than most takeaways I've ordered from. We highly recommend and will definitely be back. Superb!
