“Second time we've stayed here. First time was in the rooms above the Inn and the second was at the cottage. It's a really gorgeous place and the staff seriously go above and beyond for you. We cannot recommend this place enough. Food is always delicious. Drinks are well priced. I have zero issues with The Black Dog Inn and cannot wait to revisit. I've added photos from inside the cottage.Parking: Car park at both sides of the Inn.”

“I always enjoy coming here for a drink or some food. Service is great with a good selection of beers on tap which sets it aside from most other places in Barrow. Food is also excellent and I've only ever had pleasant experiences.If you're travelling, it's also very close to the train station for your convenience.”

“What a great old pub, proper old school like I used to go to with my grand parents. Loved it, we had the lunch special; the soup was yummy, we really liked our roasts ( I had beef and partner had lamb) our 4 year old enjoyed her chicken. Very happy with the service.”
