- One of the best Caffe Neros I have ever been to.- The barista was awesome! She was very friendly and made great coffees for every member of my family! (Visited at 11:30am-ish on Tue 19 Sep 2023.)- It is on Market Place / Branthwaite Brow. The google map tends to give wrong directions, so watch out for it. It might be easier to find Kendal War Memorial first and look around, you will be able to see it.- It is tempting to cut through Westmorland shopping centre but it is not straightforward to find the way unless you are familiar with the shopping centre. It has a car park and the floor levels are not intuitive with the shops only on levels 2 and 5 where the level 2 means the ground floor and the level 5 means the first floor and so on. So, as mentioned above, the easiest would be to find Market Place / Kendal War Memorial / Branthwaite Brow.

Great cafe, just steer clear on a Friday lunch time. My mum and friend have attempted it twice, on both a occasions couldn't as there is a couple that go that stink the area out

Very tired furniture and surroundings. Staff were good. Great choice of coffee and cakes.

I have been to Neros plenty of times & the food is gorgeous. They're very supportive staff. I have felt upset a couple of times whilst being there - they let me use their phone, and the staff have been so kind & amazing. kind people.

Great that this coffee shop opens early, nothing nicer than a coffee before work. Good coffee. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful but the place always looks dirty and shabby, especially the wooden floor. Also its now almost £4 for an dairy free coffee. Why is it that independent artisan coffee shops do not charge extra but the likes of costa and nero do? I know oat milk is more expensive, but, the listed coffee price includes cows milk. So by charging 45p extra on top of that for non dairy, they're actually ripping us off: I'm paying for dairy and oat milk but only getting oat milk lol. Time this nonsense stops. Absorb the cost of non dairy and stop fleecing people who dont drink cows milk.

Overall it does what it says, serves coffee not great coffee but ok coffee. It was clean but staff could have been more proactively cleaning instead of talking in between serving customers. 3 ✨✨✨

Good coffee and lovely relaxing cafe, however customer service isn't very good. 2 occasions I've been in and we have been spoken to rather rudely. When looking at the menu, i was accused of skipping the queue and I was looked at and spoken to incredibly rudely and told to get to the back of the queue. I wasn't queue hoping just looking at the menu so I knew what to order, maybe they should move the menu to the otherside where the queue starts and not where it ends and then they wouldn't have this problem. She was was an oldish lady with grey hair. I suggest she speak nicer to the customers because I won't be going back nor will my friend or sisters. Real shame as it is genuinely a lovely cafe.

Don’t use Scottish money they refuse it. Staff need retraining in what is U.K. legal tender. Why staff on England can’t understand that England Scotland and wales are one United Kingdom with one currency called sterling and all notes from all countries within the U.K. are legal sterling tender
