“Excellent veggie choices. Friendly atmosphere. Knocked a star off because the tables need sanding back and varnishing. V sticky”

“Lovely cafe. We visited this week on holiday with our toddler and the staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating - entertainment bag, child’s cutlery and drink bottles etc. Sadly our little one was rather poorly so we had to cut the visit short and run, but if we were local we’d definitely be regular ”

“- One of the best Caffe Neros I have ever been to.- The barista was awesome! She was very friendly and made great coffees for every member of my family! (Visited at 11:30am-ish on Tue 19 Sep 2023.)- It is on Market Place / Branthwaite Brow. The google map tends to give wrong directions, so watch out for it. It might be easier to find Kendal War Memorial first and look around, you will be able to see it.- It is tempting to cut through Westmorland shopping centre but it is not straightforward to find the way unless you are familiar with the shopping centre. It has a car park and the floor levels are not intuitive with the shops only on levels 2 and 5 where the level 2 means the ground floor and the level 5 means the first floor and so on. So, as mentioned above, the easiest would be to find Market Place / Kendal War Memorial / Branthwaite Brow.”

“Every time I'm in Kendal I come to Nina's! The staff are super friendly, everything is reasonably priced and it's always so clean and welcoming. So nice to have an independent in town with such great variety. They have a brilliant stock of freshly made cakes which I'm slowly trying to make my way through and the coffee is great! It's not a trip to Kendal without a trip to Nina's too, can't recommend enough!”
