Fantastic selection of foods on the menu, something for everyone, a quaint cafe style atmosphere, which can get quite busy at times, which is not surprising due to the great flood and drink on offer!.. Not had chance to try many things on the menu, but enjoyed the eggs Benedict & Chorizo hash amongst others! Will be back for more ?

Seating arrangements were a little inconvenient. Food and service good.

Haven't even left yet, wish I found this sooner! 5 or 6 different options for eggs benedicts, waffles, pancakes, sweet and savoury, great coffees, all taste amazing. 100% recommend.

We enjoyed our lunch of the breakfast bap and especially the breakfast tea which was delicious. The staff are very friendly and would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a decent breakfast. Excellent coffee. Would recommend as lots of choice.

Nice cafe in the middle of Kendal. Only issue they don't have any sandwiches so my traditional ' soup & sandwich ' lunch is not available so just soup - which was very nice.

A lunch time spot that we took a chance on, no regrets at all, a pleasant welcome, the atmosphere is cosy and it is also dog friendly. A varied selection on the menu which would please most people. Food cooked fresh to order without a ridiculous wait, we ordered the giant Yorkshire pudding with sausage and mash from the specials board and a ciabatta and soup deal, everything was spot on and the soup was brilliant. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Very disappointed ? ordered toast and fried egg and eggie bread and bacon. With 2 teas cost 21.50Took 1 hour for the food to arrive. One of the eggs was still slimy and food was cold. The place however was nice and inviting and staff polite .But unfortunately we will not recommend this place . Sorry

Really nice place with a good variety. Place is nice and homely. Staff very friendly. Good quality produce, and plenty of it too. Nice thick bacon.

Food good, nicely decorated and not too loud, nice big menu, good childrens menu, plenty of choice, however service lacking. Two of the things I wanted were out including the beer on tap.Hot drinks came well after the food and only after prompting.Milk for coffee didn't appear until we asked again. My wife ordered veggie sausages, and confirmed this when ordering as the person misheard her initially. When they came she asked again 'are these definitely veggie sausages' the server said 'erm yes they should be' - hardly reassuring for a vegetarian...No forks on the table - had to grab them off another table.Yes they were quite busy but not completely full.Vegetarian options: Didn't seem particularly sure if stuff was veggie or not!
