Called in for lunch whilst in town.Food was great. Only negative was, I really don't like eating food off a wooden board with a piece of paper under the food. It's a bit old school now. Much prefer a proper plate, you know has been through a dishwasher. Paper got really soggy and did start to break up.Service was good and the place was quite busy.

We had the festive ✨️ afternoon tea, and it was delicious, lovely food, staff, and decorated surroundings. This is my second after tea here! 10/10 would definitely do again!

Food took a while to arrive. My meal was nice but the steak was chewy and there was no steak knife

Trips to Kendal are highlighted by a Coffee and snack at Stanley’s. Staff always friendly and helpful. The coffee made to Farrers best standard. Always hot and consistent in texture and flavour. The bacon pannin as good as you can get. Freshly prepared- not some tired pieces warmed up out of a box!!A real asset to the town.

We were en route from Rosyth (near Edinburgh), where we left at 8.30 am, to Knutsford, Cheshire, and found this delightful café when diverting off the motorway to visit Kendal. The food was superb, plentiful and reasonably priced. The bowl of soup (see photo) could not have been surpassed. If in the area again, we'll be back! (Parking was just around the corner.)

Quick lunchtime visit to this excellent little eatery, ordered the chicken poutine bowl, and it was brilliant, so much so that the other diners were asking what I'd ordered. Try it if you're ever in Kendal.

We called in for a quick lunch and ordered bacon / Brie panini each with chips. Probably the best panini I have eaten ever. You could tell everything about it was fresh and just made (not pre-packed and heated upon arrival). Staff were very efficient and friendly too. Ended up with food envy watching some of the food being brought out but note to self - next time go when I am hungrier and try some of the beautiful and smelling food being brought out.

Really good value and very tasty food - I would highly recommend the burritos.
Great coffee shop, often use it when we are in Kendal. It's central, it is spotlessly clean, friendly helpfull staff. Great menue. Definitely worth a visit. Car park near by, plus M&S.

First time we have called in, just wanted a lightish lunch so had bacon on ciabatta. It was really good as was the coffee. Saw some of the dishes other customers had ordered and they all looked really good. So intend to call in again with larger appetites than today.

We were there last night and was very disappointed as the service, lack of food there was to order. Two of our orders arrived and the 15mins later some more arrive and 30 mins later for a pate which was a cold order to arrive.Dont think we will be back sadly
