“Really good food, excellent service, nice atmosphere.Could be easy to miss as it is set back from the main high street, but is in very close proximity to all the other bars and restaurants in Keswick and is absolutely worth finding as it is one of the best!Favourite place we ate that week, everything we had was delicious but recommend the enchiladas and the pulled pork tacos”

“Amazing cocktails with a fantastic choice served by friendly staff. The seating and table situation is a little odd - short seats and high tables! Cocktails are amazing though. Really amazing taste. Range from £10-12 but worth it for a treat.”

“amazing, quirky little bar right in the middle of Keswick. We aren’t fans of craft ale so thought there wouldn’t be options for us but the Crafty lager was really nice! reasonable priced at £5 per pint! Yes, you can get cheaper in Spoons opposite but you won’t get the ambience of this little gem! First visit but won’t be the last! Wish we had tried the food as ended up getting cheesy chips from the kebab shop later which were rank!”

“Loved this little Keswick bar, so chilled with great service and beer. Visited on very hot days, so the comfortable seating with front door open / fresh air and chilled iced water was very welcome. Loved the beer selection and returned a second teatime before heading off for food but if we hadn't a booking elsewhere would have loved to stick around longer and try pizzas as looked lovely. Would deffo recommend visit and hope to return when next on hols x”

“Called in so my son could have a game of pool, which was free to my surprise when purchasing drinks.”

“It's not a very big pub, but it's popular (with good reason), so it can be difficult to find a table. It's worth the wait if you have the time. The service was quick, and the staff were courteous and kept checking to make sure all our meals arrived. I had the standard sized Hungarian Goulash, which was delicious (the only criticism being that it could have done with having 2 dumplings instead of 1). My wife enjoyed her veggie goulash, with the kids giving a thumbs up for their Mac n cheese and pizza. There's a good selection of drinks, particularly if you like cask ales (which I do).Vegetarian options: There is a veggie version of the Hungarian GoulashKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, but bear in mind it is a traditional pub and it is quite small. You're not going to get a pram or pushchair inside. Maybe not the place for you if you have very young children.”

“Love Wetherspoons, and visit them very often, food is always very good prices and staff normally very happy and helpful, food standard can vary depending on the staff who makes it, has a good lively pub environment, but it doesn’t ever play music, good for a night out as well”
