Organised chaos. Woman with a clipboard shouting numbers to other staff. Went for a quiet coffee but no way. No thought for customers at all. Young man doing his best alone whilst other members shouted at each other around the clip board lady. She behaved as if we were in her way. Never again.

Slow service cold sausage rolls should be hot half a cup of coffee not full and a wobbly table .

A yummy Cornish pasty, but not the best I have had. They have small size pasty’s for a smaller appetite, and large pasties also, quick service. Odd selection of cold drinks though.

Not bad food, customer service was okay but felt rushed out the shop, not a fan of the card only policy as I didn't have my bank card with me so I looked stupid allowing my friend pay for me! For that reason I will not return

Returned to this bakery after enjoying a pastie yesterday. Tasha even remembered me from my American “accent” - never really considered I had an accent. Tasha was very kind and helpful. The coffee and pastries highly enjoyable: chocolate brownie, cherry almond croissant, and cherry rhubarb pastie. I’d order the same thing given the chance.

A scrummy, yummy rhubarb, apple and custard pasty. Coffee as delicious as ever and the team are as warm and friendly as always. Thank you ladies. We’ll be back very soon.

This is where the Lake District is going wrong. No local provinance, no local produce, no real value but short staffed folk trying to make it all work.

Had a hot chocolate and a cake.Hot chocolate lacked chocolate taste not impressed and left it. Cake not good no taste again but was presented nicely. Tables not being cleared and not being cleared. Will try elsewhere in future.

Very tasty bacon and cheese croissant (nicely buttery and flaky, as well). That and a fresh coffee and we were ready for our walk
