Just called in to see if lunch was still available and they served us whatever lunch we wanted. The most amazing sausage sandwiches with onion gravy but the best thing by far were the homemade chips…perfection! We enjoyed it so much we will be returning for breakfast! Thanks again… the 4 Manchester Girls.

Had a 'pie and peas' quiz night, last night, in aid of a charity. The tables were laid out in a U-shape. This made it easy for everybody to communicate with each other. It was warm, comfortable, superb ambience with soft lighting. Fantastic staff and good food. It was a very enjoyable experience.

This is not a complete overview of the cafe. I was disappointed with being asked to pay 50 pence so that a young girl in my charge was able to use the toilet. I was totally shocked at the lack of simple human compassion.

4 motorcyclists called in for cake and cuppas on Sunday 8th Oct and the look and. Attitude of lady behind the counter was not very welcoming but, of course, we still need eat and drink the same as anyone else, male behind counter was polite and friendly. On using facilities before leaving, very clean but tiled floor was like shot ice(not wet,)

We stopped off after a woodland walk at the rock park, After a slice of carrot cake each and a cold beer sat in the sun… we decided the freshly made chicken and leek pie with homemade chunky chips and veg , was just to good to miss. Absolutely delicious.

We felt that the waitress who served us seemed very uninterested in what we wanted to order. she advised us not to order any food as there would be a long wait. Then brought the menus to us and asked us what we would like before we even had the time to look at the menu. We didn't find the waitress very friendly or helpful at all.
