West County Hotel, Market Square, MillomLovely place, comfortable and room between tables. Bit quiet when we got there so atmosphere hard to judge but was hotting up as we left. Nice staff, food is great, we had all three homemade courses and felt proper full. Pasta rules!

The Byre Cafe
Millstones Barn, Bootle, MillomLovely local cafe. We had coffee and cake by the log burner. The cakes were fab. We scanned the food menu which also looked great so will definitely be back to have lunch! Cute gift shop attached to the cafe too.

Trackside Cafe and bar
Station Rd, MillomDecided to ignore the bad reviews & see for ourselves. Staff were pleasant & polite, children were welcomed. Restaurant was empty on Saturday evening & we had the place to ourselves. Music was a nice touch buy unfortunately it was cold in temperature so we needed jackets on.
Waited about 20 mins for food but it was freshly cooked so don't mind that, would much rather it was fresh.
2 pizzas & 4 burgers all very well presented. Burgers were lovely & very filling. My son didn't like the pizza due to strong cheese which was unfortunate as it looked lovely also. Prices were very reasonable for the portions. Would visit again but wear warmer clothes ?

fish and chip shop, Bay View Rise, Holborn Hill, MillomFish and chips cooked fresh while you wait, No hot counter like some fish and chip shops. Batter on my fish was lovely and crispy and the cod lovely and flakey.

Kirksanton, MillomAs a local this is one of my favourite places to eat. From the steaks to chicken to their fantastic burger range where you choose everything individually, it's great! Good service, friendly atmosphere, decent ales on tap, highly recommend.

The Punch Bowl Inn
The Green, MillomGreat food! We found the punch bowl while travelling home from visiting family. The meals were lovely, plenty on your plate. Would definitely recommend the Sunday roast. Dog friendly too!

Lovely fish & chips. Very reasonably priced and delivery although a little bit of a wait it was still within the time frame we were given.
Would definitely go here again if in the area.

37-39 Wellington St, MillomCalled in on a flying visit to Millom, the takaway coffee was mild and pleasant, the Millionaires' Shortbread was lovely, it had a pleasantly crunchy base and plenty of chocolate and loads of caramel. The granola was good as was the small quiche.I would highly recommend a visit.

The Clock Tower Bar
3 Market Square, MillomWe went to the special Curry Night and it was such a great evening! The food was amazing and we even got seconds brought out for us. It was a deal for £30 which included the food and unlimited drinks for 2 hours. We had delicious cocktails, wine, gin and more. Brilliant, attentive and positive staff, great atmosphere and amazing food. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the great night!

Staff were so friendly and helpful.
I just had a coffee and a piece of Currant Cake and I have to say it was one of the best currant cakes I have ever eaten and I’ve quite a lot of currant cake in my time!
Good coffee too.

28 Lapstone Rd, MillomWe were staying nearby on holiday and we all fancied a Chinese. Golden Lotus was the closest to us. We called up to pace our order and the man on the phone was great, explained things we needed to know about different menu choices and could tell we weren’t local so gave clear instructions on how to find them. Collection was nice and easy, ready when they said it would be and the food was absolutely delicious. There were 7 of us and there was plenty to go around, nice and flavourful, not oily and greasy at all. Highly recommended. If we lived closer this would definitely be our go to Chinese takeaway.

Caspian Takeaway
2 Wellington St, MillomWe called recently while on holiday in the area. They were really busy, we placed a large order and it was cooked promptly. Everything was delicious. Staff must have heard us talking about celebrating my daughters birthday as when we arrived back to our caravan we found a piece of cake and a note saying Happy Birthday, packed in with our food. This was a lovely touch! We would definetly recommend.

CK's Pizza & Kebab
5 Market Square, MillomWent yesterday Tuesday 10 September 2024 around 5.30pm.
Was served by a young lad who was really professional and very helpful.
We had a meat feast calzone and a bbq chicken 12” pizza, both were delicious. The lad who served us even made sure he put the right amount of sauce on my calzone.
It was so refreshing to be served by someone who was really genuinely interested in his job. He’s an absolute credit to the business.
