“Stopped in as a britstop for the night. They were lovely. Big empty gravel car park. Had a pint and a burger. Little expensive at nearly 20 quid for food and a small before burger and some skinny fries came out. Id say it was above regular pub standards. But quite small. Lovely building. Nice people. In the middle of nowhere so not much atmosphere.”

“Went in here for lunch after a long half-day's walking, but found out that they no longer do food. Still, we stopped for a drink and watered the dog while we were at it and I can understand the comments here about the real ale. The pint I had was superb and it was a shame I couldn't use it to wash down a well-earned sandwich. It was quiet too when we were there as we were the only ones in the bar we sat in, but was a lovely place to have a beer.

Highly recommended for a great pint.”
