Took a day trip out to silverdale cove, then a walk upto the fairy steps. Googled 'top rated places to eat near me and 'The Tavern at Hale' came up number 1 so we decided we'd try it out.Great place, nice decor, very friendly staff especially the lady that took our orders and chatted about our tattoos.I went for a smaller plate of pulled pork and cheese melt with cauliflower soup (& a pint of course). I was blown away by the food at The Tavern - I ordered the beef and ale pie and it surpassed all expectations. The service was great and excellent ambience. Would definitely recommend ?
