Came here for my besties 21st birthday dinner whilst in center parks!! Unfortunately this wasn’t the best meal I’ve had, which was super sad as I really wanted to love it! And the atmosphere/ vibe of the restaurant was lovely. For starter me and my friend shared a garlic flatbread with caramelised onion & Camembert cheese. This was DRY as a bone- needed about triple the amount of cheese and caremalised onion ?? For main, I went for the chicken burger which was described as succulent grilled chicken breast, red onion, tomato, baby gem lettuce and Dijon mayonnaise, all in a brioche bun. Unfortunately the chicken was drryyyyyy so so dry, and there was a major lack of sauce !!! I actually had to drench it in tomato ketchup as it was so tasteless. There also was one singular onion loop on it ? the chips also were not good at all, I don’t know how you can go wrong with fries but unfortunately these were chewy and stale tasting- it didn’t even taste like there was any potato in them! The desert was the highlight, we went for American cheesecake with raspberry coulis on top. This was actually nice, a tad sickly so I’m glad we shared one! Overall this meal was disappointing unfortunately ? which is such a shame as it was probably one of the most expensive places to eat at whilst in center parks! ??

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant.I ordered garlic mushrooms as a starter and it was great however, the main was not as good.As a main, I ordered a plant based burger with fries. The cheese on the burger wasn't melted, it was a block of cheese with some grated cheese on top of the patty, which didn't melt either, making it very dry. The burger patty was burnt, and the fries were nothing special.To make it even worse, we waited 90 mins between the starter and the main course, despite the restaurant not being full.Overall, the meal was incredibly average, falling short of expectations.

Service was good as far as the front of the house. Lovely waitress that had to apologise repeatedly for the slow kitchen. Over an hour for the food to arrive. Considering we booked ahead the kitchen should have been ready. We had a similar experience at Huck’s the night before, another restaurant inside the Center Parc.. once you are inside the Parc its a long way to any other food options. Go figure..

Service is slow and inattentive. Food wasn’t great, was only warm and whilst it might not align, we have been vomitting all night after eating there…. Staff are nice but can’t seem to cope with a half empty restaurant. I shouldn’t have to follow a waitress around to get the bill paid and then they add a service charge.

It’s a nice spot with places around it but our food took 2 hours. We even had a bottle of win for free because of the wait.

We came here for Christmas Dinner and the service we received from Ricardo was fantastic. The restaurant was busy but service was exceptional and food excellent. Ricardo went above and beyond and made our Christmas Dinner special.

What an amazing experience. Ricardo was our waiter and contributed to a wonderful evening. He was friendly, professional and fun! It was my sisters birthday and he made sure it was a special one! Would highly recommend coming to Cafe Rouge!

Lovely breakfast as always! We always come here on arrival, and every morning for breakfast. The food is always hot and delicious, and there’s always a welcoming atmosphere. Ricardo is so friendly and always remembers our faces, it’s always a pleasure to be greeted by him.

Arrived at half ten for a pre-booked table, no one came to take our drinks order for 20 minutes and then it took an hour for our food on top. Coffee just tasted of milk and the French toast was literally a single piece of toast and mine had less fruit than the kids option. Half the food was cold and average at best. Had considered asking for the service charge to be removed but at the end of the day, it wasn't the fault of the staff. They were highly under staffed and struggling to serve a less than half full restaurant. Food prices were extortionate for what they were, but I was the only one who didn't have enough food, l won't order the French toast again, it was also slightly burnt but I was so hungry after waiting so long that I didn't care. Staff were very polite despite clearly being run off their feet.
