Really nice place for lunch. It's popular, so expect a queue, but it seems to come in waves so if you can wait you'll get a seat soon enough. We stopped off here on a long car journey instead of going to the nearby services and I'm glad we did, it was a real treat.I had the chicken club with a portion of chips. Sandwich was lovely and fresh, good balance of fillings. Side salad was OK, could be improved. Felt the chip portion was a bit small, but they tasted alright. Overall, solid 7/10.Wife had prawn marie rose sandwich. Similar story; good sandwich, average salad. 7/10.The cheesecake was very nice, super creamy and the biscuit base was just the right texture. The ice cream it came with had delicious flavour, but I thought just a touch too much sugar. 8/10.Service was reasonably fast considering the rush, and our waitress was fantastic. So friendly and addressed us as every variation of 'my lovelies' or 'my darlings' that we couldn't help but leave with warm cozy vibes.

Wonderful cafe. We called here after getting off the Steamer, we were frozen but had to sit outside as no inside availability. We were given blankets and the outdoor heaters were on, this is a great little touch. Only had drinks and a doggy bag for George but we thoroughly enjoyed what we had and the service was fantastic. Reasonably priced and served quickly and efficiently. Thank you ☺️ could highly recommend ?
