5⭐️ Bottomless prosecco and afternoon tea. Frindly staff in a warm cosy atmosphere, the prosecco was flowing all through the afternoon. The cakes and sandwiches were all freshly prepared, and tasted delicious, l would definitely recommend Grants of Penrith and thank you for your amazing hospitality. ??

Grants of castlegate is outstanding! This was my second time here and it definitely won’t be my last. I had the duck breast and my mum had the monkfish curry. The duck breast was one of the best I have ever had and the potato dauphinois was to die for. I could have eaten a whole tray. I had a bite of the monkfish curry and it was equally as incredible, so much flavour! For dessert we shared the dark chocolate creme brûlée which was so creamy and delicious. The atmosphere here is relaxing and the service is amazing, always so attentive. I don't understand why this place hasn’t received a Rosette yet! It needs more recognition.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening having read lots of recommendations and were not disappointed. Made very welcome by the staff. Both starters, soufflé and scallops, and mains, steak and halibut, were excellent. I’m not normally a steak person but the fillet was superb.
