Very nice - I had the walnut burger with potato and salad. Great salad good potatoes. Burger bun tasty but needs to be softer to work as a burger bun- bit fally aparty. Chai latte nice - spice and not so sweet - unusual. Wife loved her barley and spelt risotto. Scone was nice but very salty. Very nice coconut

What a delightful cafe run by a magical couple who have a special aura that you don't find very often.We had lunch of soup and the lentil pasty with gorgeous salads.We are not local but if I was then I would visit every week for tasty, home made vegan food at a very affordable price.I would add that I am a pescatarian but the food offer here was delicious ?

Great little place, tucked away at the back of the Devonshire Arcade. Serves a regularly changing menu of delicious, wholesome food clearly made with attention to detail. Friendly service, reasonably priced and always excellent.

Beautiful! I struggled to decide what to order as it all looked so delicious, but I went for the special (chestnut and mushroom hotpot) and it was incredible. My husband had the sweetcorn fritters which were also very tasty. Such a treat to have food that is prepared with such care, nutritious and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

Really good plant based food, expertly cooked and really well presented. The staff are lovely too, always very friendly and welcoming. It's the best cafe in Cumbria, for sure.Vegetarian options: The menu is entirely plant based, so great for vegans. I think the only non-vegan item here is the option for organic cows milk with coffee, but I may be wrong.Parking: I find the best place to park is the paid car park just off Sandgate road, near the coach / bus station. There is free on street parking near Sandgate road too, for 1 hour I think.

We're not vegetarian but would eat here every day if we didn't live so far away (Glasgow!) Their delicious rainbow of salads have been carefully curated to include everything your body needs to feel great. They also have perfect pasties and tasty, hearty soup. And to top it off, they're dog friendly too ?

Stunning Beetroot Burgers salad and potato A tasty meal so carefully prepared all staff . Very helpful regarding my allergies to lentils and chickpeas . Would have loved to try more but was very full Shame it is such a small seating area. Spotless toilet area Dog friendly but not sure about this as a dog and owners arrived while we were eating and the dog sat in the aisle very close to me eating. Love the ethics of food quality and preparation here. Wish we lived nearer.
