“Had a lovely dinner here with me, my husband, and our 2 kids. Lots on the menu for all of us and really friendly service. I had the loaded nachos, and on the table we also had the chimichanga, and kids wraps. Would've been lovely to sit upstairs the full time but understand they have limited space, and ordering downstairs works pretty well.Vegetarian options: Very decent veggie selectionParking: You'll need to park in the nearby car parkKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly but this is also a bar/adult venue so it did feel like we were a little out of placeWheelchair accessibility: You have to enter down some stairs and eat up some stairs so would call. I expect they could open up the ground floor access from street level.”

“We stayed one night here before walking the Cumbria Way. We were made extremely welcome and they made a fuss of our dog. The rooms are slightly dated but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and they made us a packed lunch for later. I would have no hesitation recommending it.”

“Nice quite tucked location of the former Brittania Inn aptly renamed The Stan Laurel Inn.\\n\\nAn excellent selection of local beers from Ulverston Brewery; almost the brewery tap.\\n\\nThe food menu is also excellent and the staff will go our of their way to make bespoke snacks too.\\n\\nStan Laurel's House is worth a peek. Only 3 streets away down Chapel Street.”

“Recently returned from a long weekend in the lakes with the family and after a wee bit of research we booked in for breakfast on the Saturday.What a great find this pub was!!!!!!Now, I eat out a lot through work & can honestly say this pub is the best food I’ve ever tasted. So much so, we booked a table for the Monday prior to our departure back south.So why did we have?Eggs Benedict (amazing)Pancakes with crispy bacon & hash browns(amazing)Full English (absolutely amazing)The staff could not do enough for us & we’re very friendly.A fantastic pub, don’t not visit ulveston without stepping foot inside. ????????Food & drinks: Simply the BEST pub & food in Ulveston !!!!!”
