Lovely place to visit. Very calm and peaceful. We popped in for the guided meditation. The lady that guided us through the meditation was lovely, she was worried about her Mexican accent but she spoke perfect English. The temple is a wonderful place, the meditation was very good, it really had a positive effect in me, I was able to clear my mind and I saw golden statues and red swirls in my mind! Well worth a visit if you are anywhere near!

Such a stunning place! We were camping not far away from here and came to a free 15 meditation session. I felt so good during and afterwards, so calm. If I lived closer I’d be here a lot! Will definitely be back. The cafe was great and so reasonable, just lovely!Looking at possibly doing a retreat here. Beautiful grounds and so close to the sea also! Perfect location!

Kadampa Manjushri was life changing and deep in my heart!I went in one person and left another and I am forever grateful for that! For everything I've lived in this place and in this beautiful city with such friendly people! Here is a place to learn to meditate and delve into our introspective. Meditating and studying here is a good way to give the world all the good we get from Manjushri. And I plan to come back again and again and be able to contribute more! Thank you!!

We found this place looking for something to do in a wet Friday in the lake District, our advice don't save it for a wet day, just go!Totally not what you would expect to find, the temple is in the walled garden of a old house, we visited with no one else around and were given an amazing introduction to the temple, a sight to see and we'll worth a visit! There is also a cafe with various food and drink options, and we were recommended to head 5 mins further to the coast to see morcombe bay.

Wonderful, spiritual and peaceful.Located in a tranquil area. This buddhist temple is a must to visit.Participated in a 15 minute meditation and just spent time taking in the quiet surroundings.Staff could not have been anymore helpful, informative or friendly.Wonderful walks, wonderful cafe that has lots of variety for coffee, cakes, meals and all diets catered for.

Beautiful and very peaceful place. Everyone is welcome here, whether to eat in the cafe, to wander in the grounds leading down to the shore or to find out more about the beliefs of the people here. The old priory is breathtaking and the temple itself is an absolutely magical building. Well worth a visit, even if you're not a religious person (I'm not). Recommended.

The spiritual home of a Buddhist community since 1976. With terrific effort by them, this historic building has been sympathetically restored and is kept in admirable condition with modern facilities. The interior is particularly impressive with stunning ceilings. Its a haven of peace and tranquility.

I came here New years Day to have a looknaround and get an insight into what they do. The staff here were great and gave us all the information we needed to know about meditation and what they do. It was eye-opening and made me read a lot about it. Would definitely come back. Also the facilities were fantastic and the food was delicious too ?
