Went for some lunch with family. The food was excellent with good sized portions. A good choice of options to select from. Service was good although a bit of a wait for our order but the restaurant was busy. The surroundings were pleasant and clean. Even though the dining area was busy it wasn't too noisy. Staff VERY helpful, pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Food not to be missed. Started with crispy salt and pepper belly pork bites mmmm yummy. I enjoyed the Cumberland pie immensely. The Cumberland sausage was described as being absolutely delicious.

visited on the last day of our holiday. Was warmly welcomed and shown our table. Orders for food and drink was taken quickly. Food came in good time & when it arrived, it was very nice. I had the farmhouse burger & for me, the Chicken was a little overcooked, otherwise it was fine. also had some puddings which were incredible. Overall, a great meal!
