Worst fish&chips, fish tasted uncooked cold in middle, chips uncooked soggy. Pie microwaved seemed stale £3 for small portion chips ( starved) staff member rude. Glad we don't live there, we are on

We had 2 x battered haddock and chips and a gluten free battered cod to takeaway. All three of us enjoyed them.My haddock was a good sized portion, perfectly cooked, tasty and seemed very fresh.Chips OK but I only ate about half a dozen of them as the haddock filled me up.Price was reasonable, so was the time to be served.Premises seemed clean and tidy, so did the 'restaurant' which is a basic seating area.

I was staying in Whitehaven with a group of friends for the weekend and we all decided to have fish and chips. One of the party was gluten free and after searching on Google maps, Fraser's came up as they did gluten free. Pre ordered the meal on the telephone and picked up later in the day just before closing. The portion sizes were very good. Most of the order was for fish and chips, but I ordered the home made meat and potato pie, chips, peas and gravy. Mmm everyone really enjoyed their meals including me. The shop is situated close to the harbour, well worth the money! If I'm in Whitehaven again I'll definitely be going back to Fraser's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Parking: There is limited parking outside the shopDietary restrictions: Serves gluten free fish and chips

Been going here for years but just recently they have increased the prices several times, reduced the portion sizes to where they no longer fill you, and cut the quality of their ingredients. I will be checking out the other chippies in the area as of next week.

If you're looking for a top-notch fish and chip shop, look no further than Fraser's. My recent experience at this establishment was nothing short of delightful. I had the battered sausage, chips, and gravy, and every element of my meal was absolutely delicious. The gravy was spot on - rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. It was the perfect complement to the crispy and piping hot chips, which were cooked to perfection and tasted incredibly fresh. And let's not forget about the star of the show: the battered sausage. It was juicy and flavorful, with a crispy coating that added just the right amount of texture. But it's not just the food that makes Fraser's stand out. The service was lightning-fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made sure I felt right at home and were happy to answer any questions I had.Overall, I would highly recommend Fraser's to anyone in search of the perfect fish and chips. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the welcoming atmosphere make this establishment a true standout in the world of fast food.

Chips ok, just a bit dry. Portion size far too small for the price. Squashing a pie on top of the chips is a no no especially when it's only a small tray. It's up to the server to remember where they've put food, ie; curry sauce and to remember to give it to the customer before they leave the shop ?. Customer service 0/10
