Quite a way out of the town. Reception took 50 minutes to check me in as they had IT problems.

Grubby, unclean and unkempt. The place is tired and smells. The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned, the toilet was disgusting, the seat was soiled and so was the pot itself. Not your typical Premier Inn.Full of contractors in high viz clothes in restaurant.A chap dressed in PJs and dressing gown in restaurant for evening meal - not a good look!Never again!

I booked my stay through my employer. The booking included breakfast ...however the hotel authorities claimed it was not the case and I had to pay. It later turned out that I was right as I'd paid for my breakfast with my booking. A proper communication could have avoided the confusion.Rooms: Neet

Good location with a unique design (hotel is spread among 5 or so buildings). Rooms are standard premier inn and the restaurant as well. Free parking was a plus!

Very reasonable price. Not for old infirm people. Extremely steep slope to get to restaurant, I ended up driving 50 yards.Rooms: We had an excessable room, very spacious, good disabled facilities, good sized bed.Walkability: As already mentioned on a steep slope.Food & drinks: Very reasonable. Archaic type of queueing for drinks and food which would put me off going again. Pricing okay food okay.

we stay here every year when visiting the lakes. Its only 20 miles from windermere and its such a popular stop off. the rooms are spotless nd staff so helpful. brewers fare is right next door, the meals are excellent and reasonably priced. dont just take my word for it, come visit, enjoy

Disaster from the minute we walked in. No light in bathroom no coffee making facilities no extra pillows which we had to ask for. 2 pillows given although not in sealed bags which is the procedure they have in place in all other premier inns. The following day hairdryer not working and toilet backed up. Two of the most unhelpful female staff huffed and puffed when I insisted on them replacing the hairdryer. Breakfast well that was a joke continental breakfast was cereal and toast nothing else available not even white sugar. To add insult to injury we were offered 2 complementary continental breakfasts to make up for everything that had happened even after we had told them of the experience we had just had at breakfast. Having stayed in premier Inn for over 10 years visiting family this by far has been the worst
