What a hidden gem. A warm and welcoming B&B a 15 min stroll to the harbour. Very comfortable, well heated spotlessly clean bedroom with a decent hot shower. So peaceful. A lovely breakfast served to order with 5 star ingredients. This was an overnight business stop but we would certainly love to return.

Lovely room, very light and spacious - we had a great night’s sleep. Spotless room. And a delicious breakfast. Had the full English - fresh scrambled and poached eggs were much appreciated. Walked 15-20mins into town for dinner at The Peddler which we enjoyed.

Beautifully restored Georgian house in a quite part of Whitehaven with a bus stop into town just outside if you don't want the walk. Hosts very pleasant, huge room spotless and quiet and a very good breakfast. Ideal place to stay - would come again.

We cannot fault this lovely bed and breakfast, run by experienced hosts who make sure that all guests experience the same high quality stay and service. Situated in a comfortable, character property with very generous proportions, there is car parking right at the front door. We enjoyed the 20 minute stroll down the hill to the town and waterfront. Our room was large with the big sash window letting in lots of natural light. The comfortable bed and total quiet at night made for a good sleep. Downstairs is another large room where breakfast is served, with couches and a television if you would like to relax here in the evening. The breakfast was excellent - quality ingredients prepared and presented well. At a time when so many prices are going up and up, they have worked hard to keep the cost of a night here at the same level, and it represents excellent value.

We had a short break at the Corner House Bed & Breakfast in Whitehaven at the end of July 2023 to explore West Cumbria. We had a really nice experience and our hosts Dave & Leisa went the extra mile and made our stay exceptional. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable and had all the amenities required. We had a great nights sleep after our day's adventures followed by a really lovely breakfast each morning. We would highly recommend staying at the Corner House B&B for your visit to Whitehaven and Cumbria. Thank you Dave & Gill Allen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Windermere room. A large room with ensuite bathroom, very comfy bed and a kettle for making tea, coffee or a hot chocolate. Secure car parking on site. Great location to walk into the city centre, about a 10 minute walk. Nice and easy walk. Great location to use as a base to explore the Lake District. The bed was very comfortable and slept like a baby for two nights. Full English breakfast was very nice with granary toast and filter coffee. Hosts were very nice.

Spacious and comfortable B & B, with a delicious breakfast and very friendly owners. Within easy access of the Harbourside and restaurants. Good safe bike storage. Would definitely recommend - and stay again if we returned to Whitehaven.

Superb accommodation in a beautiful period house. Liese and Dave were excellent hosts and the room was first class, very comfy bed and good en-suite. Bike storage was provided and the breakfast set us up well for the day with our gluten-free requirements well catered for. Thank you.

We stayed for one night at this BnB. There are only two rooms available for tourists set in a beautifully restored manor house. We initially parked in Whitehaven and had a wander through the town. Our room was large very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner at the Castle Knights pub which was only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Our full English breakfast it was the tastiest one I had in our whole four week holiday. Our hosts were very friendly and informative.

Had a lovely 2 nights here. Location was good. Nice and clean and comfy room.Only fault is check in/out4pm is quite late when travelled 3 hours as just want to get in your room and relax. And 10am check out is far to early as we had been at a party so having to get up early after a late night wasn’t very good with a 3 hour journey back home ahead of us.All other hotels is normally 12 noon check out
